Please Help, My DIY E Liquid Always Make The Cotton Burnt

Hi everyone,
First really sorry if any mistakes in my words. :D

I can`t figure out my diy E-Liquid problem. This is my 3rd mixing in 100 ML with scale.

The first mix about a month ago, and it's very good for me. The second, that's bad because always make my cotton burnt.

I am sure that this is not about wicking. Because, I have tested with other E-Liquid and everything okay. Then I try drop my diy e liquid, next 5 puffs my cotton burnt again, exactly the same at the middle.

~~~
So I decide to try another recipes with new flavors. I try Bronut recipe from Wayne, DIY or DIE.
Mixing 100 ML by scale, and mix with hand mixer (manual) with slow speed about 5 minutes like before.
Teste the E-Liquid and its good enough for me, just little bit too sweet.
~~~

I think it's okay until more than 5 puffs, and I found the same problem. Try with fresh wicking, and nothing change.

This is fresh coil, fresh wick after around 5 puffs.

Device : Tesla INV 3
Power : 3.7 Volt
R : 0.32 Ohm

I think it's will get around 42 watt, and not too high to burn the saturated cotton in 5 puffs.

Any suggest will be appreciated. Thank you so much

What is different about the juice?

What is wire. Ohm and power meaning less without that detail.

IS It Tasting burn or is the sugar in the juice just carmelizing. Turning dark. Which would be normal.

Burnt in the middle indicates too much power or too little wicking.
Or both.

Looks like a HOT spot in the coil.

Thank you for all of kind replies.

I've tried different wires. Stainless steel, Khantal, also try different device.

~~

Why I curious about my ejuice? Because I've tried different wicking method, and it works well for other ejuice. Even the same cotton, same coil, that's work for other ejuice.

~~

My coils around 0.25-0.5 ohm (different coils that I've tried).

Ejuice ratio always 70 VG 30 PG

~~

Last night, I just realized that I've missed something really important. Always test the ingredients before mixing ejuice.

So I decide to test my ingredients separately. My VG, My PG, and my flavours.

Then I found the same problem, even I just use VG and PG. So maybe this is my real problem, have bad VG & PG.

So, I just ordered VG & PG from other vendors and try again, I will report back.

Really appreciate all of your answers.

Honestly it looks like a hot spot, but spaced are kind of a pain to get the hang up wick wise.
But it kind of looks like it might be a HAIR to close and possibly arcing on the post, you would be getting atty short errors tho.
But it also kind of looks like a choke point where there is too much cotton or not enough.

If it was me I would tear down the atty and clean the hell out of it, rebuild and rewick doing a Scottish roll.

Thank you for the suggest, I also try different coil, different wicking method, different coil position, different atty, and devices but always get burnt in the middle if using my diy E-Liquid.

It's fine with others E-Liquid. Then I think something wrong with the E-Liquid.

Not yet mention that I save my DIY ingredients in dark cabinet at my room with air Conditioner at 18 Celsius degree temperature. Does it can be destroy the ingredients?

I just found some articles that the storing DIY ingredients best in 22-27 Celsius degree.

Maybe I need to take a rest and start with fresh everything. Lol

Only on that one coil or both?
What mod are you using?
Both coils, and different coils also the same if I use my diy E-Liquid.

Mod : Tesla Invader III
Setting : lowest (around 3.7 volt)

My friend also try this e-liquid with Therion DNA 75, 35 watt 0,25 ohm Khantal A1 coil. The middle of cotton getting burnt at 3rd drip.

Does it possible that bad ingredients causing this problem? I just can't figure out why until try mixing again with different PG, VG, and Nicotine and see the result.

Thank you so much for asking anyway
