So I was looking for a cheap mod for hunting and fishing. I was thinking of the evic vtc dual because of the two different battery options. Anyone have this and would like to please share their input or suggestions on a different mod. Like I said this will be one if I lose it doesn't hurt as bad as my slice or vt75. I definitely like the one battery option because of how small it is.

You could check out the Innokin Coolfire IV.
100 watt enclosed battery.
When they go on sale they can get pretty low priced.
When vapordna had their doorbuster sale I picked up 3 for $8.99 each.

Thanks but have never been a fan of the coolfire. I appreciate the help though.

So are you actually getting what was advertised?

Not quite sure I understand the question but I did indeed get 3 authentic Innokin Coolfire IV that seem to be a small, solid feeling 100 watts device.
Is it actually 100 watts? If that is your question then I think it is probably a 90 watt device based on feel because I don't have the equipment to test it.
Then again running any mod at max will always feel just short of full delivery.
(at least with internal batteries)

Ohhh, I missed that tidbit.
I ordered early enough mine got shipped right away.
Once they ran out they were forced to start grabbing what they could form where ever they could just to fill orders.
It might sound bad from one angle but from the other side, they were trying to do whatever they could to fill customer orders.
Maybe I am just looking at the optimistic side but I think they did good by at least trying instead of telling everyone they were SOL.
Getting a random color one at the sale price (50% off) is still better than paying full price.
Yeah, they were forced to offer a lower model but for $8 it was still a good deal.
Maybe that's just me though.
For me, I think I was just lucky enough to order right at the start of it and they had already packaged mine before the mass flood of orders came in.
