Hello there I'm still fairly new at vaping and I'm really enjoying rebuild my stuff now that I got my baby beast RTA... But now I would like to try something new... Like a dripper lol. Never use that so it need to be easy to build on it.

I would like something that I can get a good amount of flavor without compromising the vapor production... Not less than my baby beast at least

Vapor production is more build dependant than atomizer dependant.

That said any atty with a velocity style deck is the best for newbies IMO.

For clouds you choose an atty with the bigger chamber and bigger air holes. For flavor smaller attys are better. Less air more flavor. More air more cloud. I am NOT refering to air flow but air volume. Flow can be the same. Flavor vs clouds is about the ratio of air to vapor. Not the speed at which the air moves.

Additionally under the coil air flow is best for flavor, followed by side, top airflow is worst for flavor.

What I like about the Yuri is the air is angled from the side to under the coils so this cuts down significantly on leaking like with directly under the coil air like the Kennedy.

The best flavor Atty I have is top air (modified Chalice 3), the second best is side, (Sat22) the third best is bottom (Kayfun).... Top vs side vs Bottom is also personally preference. Coil placement withing the flow does matter, IMO, the where the air comes from Not so much.

I assumed mod limitation.. AND the OP is more interested in flavor than clouds. The smaller atty always has more flavor potential than the bigger version.
Don't agree with that, the size of the coil(s) just have to accommodate the size of the chamber for good flavor.
Besides that bigger build deck make for an easier build.

Anyways 22mm RDAs:
Petri
Goon 22 (i have the 24)
Recoil
Freakshow
Kennedy 22 (i have the 24)
Shuriken (i have the 24)

The Chalice comes in from the top but the air comes out on the side of the coil, thus "side air". I'm not referring to where the intake is but to where the air comes out to the coil. Two of the best flavor RDA's I have are the Darang and Mose, the air intake is from the top but egress is at the coil. I love them both for they are the only RDA's that are leak proof.

Love the Darang, it's a flavor beast but a very tiny, tiny build deck and chamber. I've got the Darang V3 and the Anya by Mandaya on the way, pretty excited about getting them.

The Chalice is side air....... Mine is top air. Because I removed the internal air diverter. Mine is also a clone, maybe the authentic cannot be converted IDK. So in from above down to coil and up through DT. Whether side or top is still arguable as I also mount the coil in the center, directly under the driptip, rather than to the side as intended. So technically air can ONLY hit the coil on ingress from the 3 sides ( 3 air holes in top). Only 1 air hole at coil in side air mode.

I would prefer a 22mm yes for the flavor but also for the look. A Small atomizer look much better on the alien mod IMO

I'm gonna take note for all the recommendation made here.

Btw I'm a Canadian so I need to buy stuff in Canada... I don't want to take any chance with the customs

Instead of the Dripper try the GeekVape Ammit RTA. I love that thing and it looks great on my Alien I'm in Canada also. In Ottawa IMG_0677.JPG

I think a great starter RDA is the Advken Madhatter V2. 22mm, Velocity style deck, and is only 17 bucks on Fasttech.

Would like to hear your thoughts on the Darang V3 and Anya when you get them. The V3 is now hard to come by in the Phils (ironically) but I'm still curious if it's worth the time to hunt for.

Well it a little hard to find a dripper at low price on a Canadian store

Edit : I've managed to find a Freakshow at good price. It seem to be a good option.

I built my first Freakshow last night and it kinda shocked me. I really wasn't expecting much from it but the flavor, even with a simple sleeper build, is not shabby. I keep going back to it too. Oddly charming that thing is.

I'm sure I'll find out more about her as I use her, but my main cons for the atty are that she doesn't hold much juice and didn't come with a drip tip. Otherwise I'm oddly impressed, but then again my expectations were quite low.

I revive my own thread lol... I've made my research and I think I would prefer a rdta atomizer, in that case a ijoy limitless rdta plus seem to be a really nice choice.

And as for the size a 24mm Even a 25mm atomizer would fit perfectly on the alien mod... Well I need to search some pictures to see it by myself

The Indestructable is a Great RDA for the price! The build deck is a bit different but yiu can fit some pretty monstrous builds in it and the size of the deck is very misleading when you 1st look at it. The Double Vision is an awesome 22mm atty. Simple 2 post design but it will fit most builds you throw at it, and it comes with a spare deck that will fit any other Comp Vape top caps.

Edit: Deck also fits on the TM2 22mm*
