Hi.
So i have some questions on how to make my own juice.
I have made about 1000 ml juice since i started vaping, and it seemed fine.
Then i had a friend visit, that had made the exact same juice as me, from the same destributor, same brand, yadayada.
Mine is harsh AF but his, is smouth as gold.
Why?
I let my juice steep, and all of that good stuff. I follow his recipe. Stille, harsh as balls.
Whyyy? I have tried to change the Watts, AF, and so on. Still the same.
The nic, pg and vg is brand spank'in new.
I would love anyone who could help me fix this issue! Thanks :)

Edit:
My ratio is 90vg
Nic = 100mg 100pg
Taste is 10% pinkman
Even if i try different tastes, it still tastes shit.

if all is the same are the mixing steps also the same are you using a by weight measurement or but m/l drops. i would have your friend step you thur each process sometimes that can get different results.

All the folks here helped me and i will have you.
The cooler the better for nicotine storage and steeping.
Keep airtight within reason.
One major factor can be nic strength. Although stated on the package 100mg/ml or such this may not be the case. Ask your friend for a sample of nic to try. Also if your nic strength is higher than your friends this could result in harsher taste. Try a sample of your friends nic same vendor doesn't mean it is consistent. You could have gotten a "friday" batch that was m8xed in correctly.

Yeah, that would be a good idea. I could try that.
But i dont understand why everything i make, comes out shit. I have tryed so many different things, and i follow all the steps he does, still its no go.
But it is worth a shot. Thank you :)

I did not know that it would make a difference, if the nic is older, in that shops over were i live are extreme, in quality checks.
The thing is that i have tried 2 different kinds of nic, and im getting tired of fking my vape up. Im on limited funds, so i dont want to buy much more stuff, to get the taste right. The sad part of the whole thing, is that i work at a vape store (im not mixing on the job)
But thanks, i will try my friends stuff, and see.
Also i will reduce my nic lvls from 10 to 8

My best guess is that you did not shake something enough before mixing. :ejuice:

Try the advice here...

http://vapingunderground.com/threads/finding-the-problem-when-your-diy-tastes-bad.88262/

That friend that had made the exact same juice as you?...Give him all your ingredients and see if the resulting juice remains sub standard. That could narrow things down a bit also.

Welcome to VU Klove!

Just to clarify, you are using exactly the same brand of NIC from the same vendor? I know you mentioned that everything was the same but just thought to double check that detail...

Ok, so to make a mini update. I will make a small batch og new juice.
I will make a 8 mg nic, 92 vg, single flavour.
I will use a warm bath to make it easy to mix, and the new update will come, when im tasting the batch.

Just to be 100% sure.
How long should i wait, before trying my juice?
I often go a cuple of days, before trying/ vaping my juces. Is this long enough? I like fruit mixes a lot.
I have some different aromas, like tpa, t juice, vamp vape and so on.
Thanks :)

How long is completely up to you. Even if I know a particular juice will improve with age, I try to sample a bit just after mixing.

The only way vaping right after mixing will be harsh is if the flavors are in alcohol. Most tpa is pg the others I am not sure check with the vendor.

90% of the recipes only need 24-36 hours, but longer doesn't really hurt.
Vanillas & Creams, and some other CAP flavors need a week IMO.
Custards & Tobaccos can take a month.

And just to add; i'm really accurate at te messuring part, with the needles n all.
Sorry for my bad english, and if anyone like, you could correct me, so i learn :)

I think the problem is the nic.
Now what do i do.... the nic is, as previusly stated, the same, from the same vendor, same everything...
I sent them a email, but i dont know what to do now. And my wallet is skinny AF.
Damn. Fuck cigaretes. May it be illegal to sell the fuckers soon.

Looks just fine to me...

I think the problem is the nic.

Other than being sure it's mixed up very good before adding in with recipe...
You could always just try using a lesser amount for the time being.
I'd suggest trying 6, sometimes 10 is a bit too strong for some ppl, especially with the harsh NIC.
Certain brands of NIC are more harsh than others of course.
Are you vaping Direct Lung hits?
If yes, you can try MTL, like smoking, as it may be somewhat less harsh.
Once you get some good NIC you may be able to mix in a little of the bad with the good, so you don't have to just dump it.

Thanks. I can change to a mtl tank, as i have 3 4 of them.
I have tryed 6 different nic mg now, so there is something really wrong with this nic.
As i work at a vape shop, i will get them to order nic for me, so i know what im getting.
Just as a disclamer, i do NOT NOT mix juices @ work :)

And thank you so much for the help. You all are awesome.
Thank jebus for VU!
