Sore throat

Hi,
I have been getting a sore throat for a while which is leading to a bit of congestion. I am mtl vaping on a dripper with .17 ohm dual alien coils at 90 watts with 80 vg 20 pg.

Could it be the pg or too much heat from the vapor? It doesn't bother me that much except when I can't help but cough in front of other people.

I have heard of people mixing vg with a little distilled water instead of vg. Does this work or does it mute the flavours?

Maybe the pg is an irritant?

Any help would be much appreciated.

you might have a cold, or a virus, or simply be vaping at too high of a temp. Lower the watts to 70 and see what happens. There is also another possibility, you might be sensitive to the flavoring in the juice. Try another flavor.

Make sure you drink a lot of water. High VG can cause dryness in the throat. Also experiment with different ratios. Some people are sensitive to PG while a few are to VG. It really depends on the person.

I am also going to add my vote for keeping properly hydrated.

While I have always started my morning with a big glass of water from my home water cooler, since I started vaping I have made a conscience decision to drink more water.

Heck, since I can get a 32 OZ container of flavored Powerade for $0.99 which is specifically made to keep you hydrated, I make a point of having one of those every day. between switching from coffee to Ice Tea.

Give the above method a try and you may be surprised!
