While I don't have the primo, I do have SEVERAL joyetech mods (evic VT, vtc, vtc mini, evic 2) and have never had a problem with the 510 on any of them. Honestly can compare them to $200-300 mods I also use and easily get the same performance from them. This is the first I've heard of the pin problem and I'm curious if it's a common thing for other vapers or just this particular mod

Well then you should run out and buy a lottery ticket right now because Joytech/Wismec are notorious for shitty 510 pins. It's a shame to because they make an excellent board. They should stop trying to save 2 cents on shitty 510's and crappy wiring.

I guess I did get lucky. I have a few minor annoyances (rattling button on one, etc) but they give me a great vape every time, even after being abused

I thought they did. With the RX300 and reuleaux mini having what looks like a new 510 pin, I thought this crap is finally finished. Guess not. Haha.

Same here, I have 5 types of Joytech mods, no problems with the pins on any of them.

I had my Cuboid for almost a year and this problem only happened once.. it only happens with any RDA/tank that isn't long enough to reach the 510. Everyone I know with a wismec hasn't experienced this either. This really sucks because I really liked the Primo

I have two cuboid minis along with the original cuboid. One of the minis has a flaky ass 510 just like Mike's. They really need to up the game with the 510. This is ridiculous. The 25A CL on the cuboid is also crazy low.
