Help me pick one..Looking to buy another "Budget Mod"

I think it depends on what you want, 2 battery 3 battery Lipo . Also do you use temp control as some work better then others. If its for straight power mode I would buy the Sigelei 213 plus for $40 at ecig .com I don't use temp control , the size and look of the sig is sweet, plus the screen is kick ass.
Out of those, I would go for the RX or the Cuboid. I have both in the collection, and they are both very good mods, the 510 pin does need to be treated with care though.

I didn't mean that there will definitely be an issue that will occur with the cuboid, just that you can't go cranking down your tanks or RDA's on it due to the 510 (Meant to be spring loaded, but all of my mods by them seem to have no movement compared to others in the collection)- the same with all Joyetech/Wismec mods though.
My Ex's cuboid did get an issue with the 510, luckily it was an easy fix though. There are some issues that can occur with the door too, but these are easily fixed too.
I love the look of the Cuboid, mine hasn't been used for a while- I think I may have to use it later today actually as it is a lovely mod

If I were going on a long ride and those were the ONLY mods I could choose from, I'd take the Battlestar.
(The Cuboid is not damaged, I just like to leave the protective screen cover on until it falls off or annoys the hell out of me.)
All of the mods work fine.
The Laisimo is a bit heavier but looks great even though a fingerprint magnet.
The Battlestar is a high underrated mod that works great, that is why I have three.
The Tarot is thin so you are more limited on tank size and it is a little underpowered so you'll have to turn it up just a little more than other mods.
(this was resolved on the newer version)
The RX200S works fine and I have been fortunate with no 510 issues.
The Cuboid is 3 times heavier than it looks and worked ok but just wasn't anything special to me.

Battlestar for sure. If you don't like it, I'll buy it off you, assuming you get the bronze one as that's the one 1 I have my eyes on.

Hohm Slice or Hohm Wrecker G2. Best value for money and most definitely one of the best mods ever. You can head over to the Hohm Wrecker or Hohm Slice thread on this forum and you'll see why so many people love it. IMO it's one of the most underrated mods especially since it's such a great mod and has all the features and more and priced very reasonably. The guys over at Hohm Tech have created a masterpiece right here. I am sure that you will love it.

the G2 is an amazing choice as well. only reason i wouldn't say slice is it seems he wants 150+ watt dual battery devices. but if he can do with 101 watt single 26650 device the slice is a beast
Ah, might of missed that. The slice really is a beast with its 2A charging on the LE model. It charges really quick and performs excellent. I use that alongside my G2 daily.

love the slice! only single battery mod i use. LE has 3 amp charging supposedly but I don't have a 3 amp charger lol. SE does 2.1amp charging
I'm not sure about the Tarot 200, but I was gifted a Tarot Pro on Sunday, and it's been my regulated device of choice since. If it has the same Omni chip, you can set the first four seconds I believe, in half second intervals, to a specific wattage. I love it for series builds since I can start it off with high power to preheat the big coils, but I taper down so wicking isn't as picky.
The Omni Chip is pretty cool and I've yet to mess with firmware. Gives you a kanthal pre heat essentially.

Yes it does over 3A if I remember correctly. I only have access to a 2A charger which I why I tend to forget it does over 2A. My DNA250 mod can't even beat that although it cost significantly much more.
I love how the Smok Alien fits in my hand, it's really small for having 2 batteries and the squeeze button is a nice touch.
Really detailed display screen but I heard they can act weird with certain attys. Mine's worked great with a limitless rdta and a baby beast on it.

it's the best mod on your list by far and can be found under 40 bucks. the copper one look really sick but all the colors are nice

I love my copper battlestar, that thing really does have a hit to it. I've been considering adding the slice to the collection, but really iffy on buying more batteries right now.

I was in the same boat as you with batts at first only dual 18650 mods. all my batts were 18650 married pairs. all my tanks 25mm or less then i gave in and got the slice so i had single 26650 batts. then i got a lux so i needed married pairs of 26650 batts. then came the triple so i ordered sets of 3, then came the quads LMAO it never ends mans

And now there are the new batteries on the horizon, forget what the actual number is, 27 something, supposed to be better than 18650s amd only a little bigger...know what that means...my credit cards are gonna get heated up buying nnew mods when they make the change..

20700 batts. made by sanyo. 30 amps and 3100mah is their latest one.I think boxer has a mod for it already? but i'm sure we will start to see more of them
Yeah right now all my mods are dual 18650 (well I do have the rx200 that uses 3, but it's in the box again) so I have a boat load of 18650 pairs. Might front up for the slice and two batteries for it next week, just to have something different to play with. Who knows, I'm back on the buying kick, until the wife finds out. She's getting suspicious as I keep having more stuff appear.

Guys, I watched some reviews of the battlestar and a couple things caught my attention....Major button rattle is pretty much a given on them but can be fixed if you want to take the mod apart.... and when in TC mode its automatically giving 100watts and wattage is not adjustable at all...it gives you 100watts no matter what...I'll probably end up with every mod I listed at some point but im gonna check out that Laisimo L1 first since its priced way lower than other places I see them listed for elsewhere including china..$44.95 shipped from US versus $60 plus @ other choices US or china.

that's funny on the wattage, as I have mine set at 75 watts, and it's giving me right around that. I get pretty much the same vape as I did my other tc mods at the same temp and wattage. It's a decent little mod, but it's no dna yihi or fsk, and I don't expect it to perform to the same order as those do. Over all, I don't regret buying it, and I use it more than I do my rx mods, and find it performs better than those do. As for rattle, I haven't noticed it in mine.

I don't doubt its a good mod..ill have one at some point..Ive been going mod and RTA crazy the last 2 months lol.....One review was saying wattage on TC wasn't adjustable like its not on the eleaf 60w..It goes to max power and then adjusts accordingly from the temp set but wattage on initial fire cant be controlled...maybe that reviewer was mistaken..not really sure....I just ordered the Laisimo L1 in white and picked up a Smok TF-RTA to go with it.

That's all wrong. Reviewers lol. U can adjust watts in temp mode and temp mode works well also I don't have any button rattle.

I agree, it is nice looking...It will make my "must buy" list for sure...The prices I found seemed on average for what the smoant sells for..That Laisimo was well under normal prices ive seen for them so I had to jump on the deal for it..I wouldn't have paid over 50 and especially 60 dollars for the Laisimo normally...got it for $44.95
I really believe in buying a nicer mod that cost a little more over buying 3-4 $40 mods. I rather have one nice mod that is everything i wanted, performs well, and looks awesome. When you buy multiple budget mods, you end up only using a few anyways. Thats just me though. To each there own. Dont get me wrong, i love buying multiple mods, and having variety. I own to many mods to count, and i keep buying. I feel like its worth buying a higher end mod, you get what you pay for usually.
The Battlestar is a awesome mod though, i have one i won in a giveaway on youtube. I own a rx200s i bought, and i love the battlestar so much more. So much smaller, love the shape, and performs like a mod should. I dont own a L1, so i cant comment on it. Im sure you will enjoy it. Let us know how you like it.
