Hello

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with these questions:

1- Should I get rid of a battery if I dropped it? Its not dented or anything but it showes on the wrap...I thought it was a dent until I removed the wrap, the battery itself was totally fine, that dent was on the wrap only. Should I keep on using it in this case?

2- I have an rx300 with four married LG HG2 batteries for that particular device....the batteries are charged together but one battery usually drains before the others....does that imply that there's a problem with either the batteries or the device? and should all the batteries drain together simultaneously?

Thank you

You would have to hit a battery quite hard for it to have physical damage or to short internally.
If there are no visible marking or dent in the metal body it should be fine.

Try to switch places within the mod with the four batteries.
If the same battery still looses charge faster then the others then it's the battery's fault, otherwise it's the mod's fault.

#1 - If the battery casing is not dented or mishaped, just re-wrap it, it is still fine
#2 - It could be a low performing battery, as nightshard said rotate the battery positions in the mod manually, marking the one you suspect is underperforming, also mark the slot it was in. Now rotating through, if the suspect battery keeps up what it is doing it is the battery. But, you see in a lot of multi-battery regulated mods, the battery at the closest to the control board in the circuit or the battery at the end of the chain (last battery) will always be lower on charge than the others in the set. That front of the circuit or back of the circuit battery most times being lower charge is one of the main reasons it is suggested an external charger is best to re-balance the charge of all batteries in the set, without a balance charger circuit in a mod without manually rotating the batteries, that lagging battery just keeps going lower and lower and adding stress to the others. As long as the batteries are all equal 4.2v charge before putting them back into the mod, you are perfectly fine, though rotating their positions each time is highly advisable, that way one battery is not taking the brunt of the high drain is asking of it all the time.
