The fire button on my Mini is sticking. It was only doing it if I pressed only on the very bottom edge of the button. It is sticking more constantly now, even while making sure I press the fire button dead center. Has anyone popped the mod open on one of these? I would imagine that you would pop the back glass off as opposed to the glass side with the screen. Would like to fix it myself.

Hi mate, I haven't opened a snow wolf or snow wolf mini, but have plenty of other mods. I will just say to be gentle as you will likely have to remove the board to get to the button, I have with all mods so be gentle there.

I have found a can of electrical contact cleaner to be a godsend for sticky buttons, when I have the mod apart, I give it a good spray with the cleaner, and allow it to dry before putting it back together. It might be worth getting some for in case this happens again? It is only cheap, and a can lasts ages.

Sorry I can't be of more help on the actual opening of the mod though.

I'd check DJLsb Vapes at Youtube, if anyone has torn one apart, I'm sure it would be him.....:)
I checked him out and actually subbed but, did not see one on the 80 watt mini.

I am hoping that I can wait until my Snowwolf 235 comes in to open the Mini up. Should be a fairly simple repair.

That sucks to hear because my fire button is starting to feel a little janky. The build quality on the new ones are a far cry from the original.

I haven't kept up with the newest mods lately, mostly due to the collection getting too big, but I have never had a Snow wolf, and the 235 looks quite nice I must say!

Do you think the Snow wolf 235 would be a worthy buy? It does look very nice!

Oh bollocks. Sorry mate :(, as I have never actually even used one of these, if you put it back together but without the glass, will the mod still work? If so you could maybe get some Perspex cut to size if it is a mod you really like?

I cant wait to get the 235 and really hoping it is as good as I am hoping it to be. I think the only thing that is up in the air about it may be the touchscreen.

I did have plans in the future of making a mini wooden mod so, my plan now is to order another mini and use the guts from this cracked one for the wood mod.

It will still work seeing as it is just a cover. I cracked it trying to pry the back off.

Damn that sucks. Maybe a silicone case?
That would work fine. I ordered another one though so I can open this one up so we can all have a look see inside. I have not found anyone that has opened one up yet.

Did you go with black or a different color?

I'd be really interested to know what's in there considering how good the battery life has been. Granted, I only use mine between 28-33w with a .8 ohm single coil..

Black. Again. I use mine at 70 watts and it last me all day at work and into early evening. Thats not bad for 3000mah. I am curious to see inside also.
