Are clones safe to buy? And where can I find them online?

You can find them all over the place. For best results, stick with known brands like Tobeco and EHPro; they seem to make the best clones, of anything. Oh.. also "Yeahsmo," though I'm not sure they've made a lot of clones; their clone of the Achilles is fantastic.

Ive gotten quite a few good RDA clones from fasttech...I have the CEO which is a great dual or single coil RDA...I have a Marquise RDA which to this date is still my favorite flavor RDA but they don't sell them anymore...I have really good Orchid, Kayfun and Taifun RTA clones...What most do is look for a popular clone name (EH Pro/ Infinite/Tobeco) or just try them all out out on the model they like till they find the best one..the pricess for a lot of the clones are pretty cheap but usually the higher priced clones come from higer standard clone makers.

they were always pretty good. just behind ehpro (who was the best) and infinite. But now they are on par with those 2 for sure. their velocity clones are on point. I also had a tobecco hellboy clone i gave away and it was on point too

I think they moved up to making their own products now and may become more of a manufacturer than a cloner...The Tobeco Orchid V4 i have has been great so far

The only clone that I can vouch for is the Tobecco Velocity. Its the only clone that I currently have and its a very good clone! I have two of them. I am awaiting two more clones from 3fvape though, the Velocity V3 and the Reload rda's. Nothing wrong with clones, I just dont feel like paying more for an rda or tank than I would for an actual mod.

As long as it has PEEK insulators and it's a 1:1 clone it'll perform as expected.
My Sith V2 clone is better than the original. Sure they used a copper plated SS top and bottom but the switch is much better than the real one. Much easier to clean and beef up with a different piece of copper.

Thought you might enjoy the Velocity style. Know that betwixt some arthritis & nerve
issues, the Velocity decks make slapping coils on at least bearable to do for me. Tried
an Origin little that is a 16 mm deck. It got pif'ed out because it was too tiny for my
fumbling fingers. I also enjoy the Goon style decks. The coils go on them a bit different
but as long as I have 22 mm or better, seems it all goes easier.

A good rule of thumb for clones is don't buy the cheapest option as they are more likely to give you problems. Shoot for something in the $20USD range(mods) and $15-20USD (RDA).

Also, try and stay away from aluminum clones.. They tend to be made of cheaper, softer aluminum. They heat up faster and ding harder.

My go-to metal for a clone is brass if I can find it. They hold up better than copper or aluminum and are (roughly) 7x more conductivity than stainless steel. If not, I go for copper over steel (Personal preference).

It CAN contain lead, but doesn't necessarily contain lead. Sure, Chinese manufacturers probably do add lead as it'll make it easier to work with the brass. That being said, the small amount of lead added (around 4% by weight) shouldn't pose a problem as long as you don't stick the tube in your mouth on a regular basis, the chances of lead poisoning are slim to none. If you are worried about lead poisoning(nothing wrong with that), opt out of brass.

Fact is you could suck on a chuck of brass from the day your born to no ill affect. OK, it might be bad on the teeth..... but geeeze.

If I want the authentic I buy it........ If I not sure and there are clones i'll buy those....... If the clone is good and like a 10th the price of the authentic...... I'm sorry but someone needs to look at their costs. because as of yet I do not know the meaning of disposable income.

BY the way My first mech and favorite mech is a $13 fastect Origin Mech clone in brass. Had it almost 4 years. It gets used almost daily. It has been dropped in pools, ponds, and rivers, doen a 50 foot cliff and off the roof. It has flown from the front seat to the tailgate and back of my XJ more than few times. Besides a couple scratches, it works as good as it did the day I got it. FWI the outside of it has not been "cleaned" since I got it. It has been washed. Internally it is kept spotless and shinny. Outside it looks like scrap pipe.

I have yet to get a BAD clone vape device....... Not that I a have tried or have all the original version of the stuff I have. Or even have ever seen the originals. Hell I bought most of my first Kayfun before I even new they were clones... Or that there was a such thing as a clone. I have and use 4 of them. I paid I think $10 for the most expensive one.

I have a Reo Grand Clone.. IF I was in the market for another mechnical squonker I would get an Authentic. Thing is I love my mechs. But regulated is soooooooooo easy.

And I have yet to be convinced I should pay more than $50 for a mod and $20 for an Atty.

I've had pretty good luck with tobeco clones, their kf v4 and v5. I would imagine the bachelor nano is similar to the bachelor, been using that rta as my only rta for months. Easy to change wicks without dumping juice, very few parts (compared to the kayfun type with 101 pcs).

Only 'con' I've found or maybe two. The glass fits super snug on the bottom oring/seal, so much so I've never removed my glass from the chimney for fear of breaking it.

The other is the top silicone seal where the swivel top fill port is, juice tends to dribble a little from the seam where the swivel top rests. It doesn't leak as in pour out, I can leave a full tank on its side all night and it won't drain the tank or anything, but always a little droplet of juice. No replacement silicone seals for it is a bummer, they have replacement orings and seals for the rest of it.

I think ehpro is getting away from clones and focusing more on their own designs. The bachelor, nano, morph, big bear come to mind that aren't clones.

YOU are free to chose whatever you want. I really don't care honestly. But this isn't my FIRST experience with stuff made in China, or knowing some of the tricks they pull over there in manufacturing either.

I can bet you, the brass is higher in lead content than brass made here.
1 It makes it easier to machine.
2 It makes the raw materials cheaper.
3 They don't care about end user safety. If they did, why would lead end up in pet/children's products?

So if you like using brass, then use it. Don't belittle me because I have my head square on my shoulders. I chose not to use it, period.
