Best tank for sigelei zmax v5?

I want to order a Sigelei but I'm uncertain about a suitable tank/clearo.
I'd be going from a crappy 650 battery bought in ignorance at a smoke shop with no experience vaping on anything else. I use a minipro 3 with 1.8 dual coils.

Will the tank I use greatly affect how it operates? I want something that is efficient (easy on the battery) and won't burn through coil heads as fast as I currently do.

I'm sure I sound clueless - not denying it!

I don't buy tanks to fit mods, I buy mods to fit tanks. I would find the tank you want and make sure the zmax V5 can deliver enough wattage (shouldn't be a problem unless you are building your own coils). The tank will greatly determine the flavor/vape quality and airflow. For the mod, just make sure it can deliver the wattage needed (15 should be fine for clearo tanks) and you like the look. For mech mods there is more to look at, but for regulated mods like this that should be it.

Have you looked at AeroTank or Protank? I have the ZMAX but I use all rebuildables. I hear other people really enjoy these tanks tho, and they should be the right size to pair nicely with the ZMAX.

My vote is for an Aspire Nautilus with BVC (Bottom Vertical Coils). This tank will give you all the airflow you desire, either large airflow, or minimal airflow. The BVC coil heads are quite outstanding in the flavor/vapor they produce and they last a long time in my experience.

For the BVC Aspire Nautilus, you can choose the resistance of your coils. I suggest the 1.8 Ohm coil heads because it gives you a good blend of vapor and battery time on your mod. You might want to consider the Sigelei 20 watt or 30 watt models in case you want more power in the future. Both of the Sigelei's should use a 20 amp 18650 battery. I'm using an Efest 20 amp 3100 Mah on my 20 watt model and I get very good vape time out of it before needing to recharge. For an additional $10 or $15 over the cost of a zmax, you can get a regulated mod that will have extra power if you decide to use it.

All I've ever used is my mini pro on the cheap 650 I have. It's deeply annoying never really getting a consistent, satisfying vape.

I take it VV isn't as important as VW?

I can pretty much guarantee that a Nautilus or a Kanger Aerotank will vastly improve your vaping experience.

VV is variable voltage, VW is variable wattage. I prefer Variable Wattage because I can find the right wattage that gives me a great vape and just stick with the setting. When you change out tanks or atomizers you can start with your preferred setting and adjust for maximum flavor and vapor production. Regulated mods are starting to move to the VW settings only because most vapers tend to use that setting anyway.

Pretty much the same thing, only VW is easier. Wattage is determined by the voltage and resistance of the coil. With VV if the resistance changes you adjust the voltage. With VW you find the wattage you like and if the resistance changes it adjusts the voltage for you.

Like what I'm reading about the Sigelei 30.

If you like tube mods then it is a nice one. With the majority of regulated mods you are looking at the wattage range and the ohm tolerance. The rest is looks. With the Sigelei 30 it should be fine for any clearamizer. If you like the look go for it, but personally I'm not a fan of the single button interface. The tilt feature is nice though.

The 30VW from Sigelei is $85
The zmax v5 only $48

Hmm....that's kind of a lot. But if it's a lot better I suppose it's worth it

Word, totally. Mod over atty is upside down.

We don't know whether BVC will give you the airflow you desire. I agree on either the Nautilus BVC or Aerotank Mega as primo replaceable coil choices. But full open Aerotank has the more open airflow. I have both. BVC has the better flavor, Aerotank better air flow. If you gotta have the lung hits (like me) you might prefer the Aerotank as I do, even though BVC tastes a bit better.

If your not sure about the tank you want, I really recommend finding a good vape shop nearby. The good shops will have tanks you can sample with rubber mouth pieces so you can see if it gives you the vape/airflow you want. Being a child of the internet age I will try it at a local shop and, if the price is to much there, buy it online.

I remember you toiling over this choice a month ago. Hope you have better luck now that you're resettled. :)

If you get a 30 watt model, get a couple Efest 20 amp 3100 Mah batteries and a Efest or comparable charger.

I'm in the True North Strong and Free - Shipping charges are usually pretty high. But I'd like to support US vendors so we'll see.

I used to live on Vancouver Island BC 20 years back. Went to lots of Hockey Games.

O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land, glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee;
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada! Where pines and maples grow,
Great prairies spread and Lordly rivers flow!
How dear to us thy broad domain,
From East to Western sea!
The land of hope for all who toil,
The true North strong and free!
God keep our land, glorious and free.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

O Canada! Beneath thy shining skies,
May Stalwart sons, and gentle maidens rise.
To keep thee steadfast thro’ the years,
From East to Western sea.
Our own beloved native land,
Our true North strong and free!
God keep our land, glorious and free.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

Ruler supreme, who hearest humble prayer,
Hold our Dominion, in thy loving care.
Help us to find, O God, in thee,
A lasting rich reward.
As waiting for the better day,
We ever stand on guard.
God keep our land, glorious and free.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

What part of the island did you live on?
Perhaps, I heard it often enough. I'm a USA hoser who lived with a Canadian girl for a number of years in Vancouver.

I just picked up the Zmax v5 and already had both Kanger Aerotank Mega & 5ml nautilus (plus my protank 2 & 3's). I'm absolutely loving the flavor and consistency of the vape in RMS mode! I was wondering what tank you decided on? I got the gun metal version v5

(every mod I own is stainless steel and I wanted to mix things up a bit), but none of my tanks look great atop the zmax.

I love the Nautilus with the metal cage tank on mine. I've got all the Kanger tanks and didn't really want to start collecting coils from another brand. I finally tried the Nautilus and glad I did. I don't like the looks without the metal cage tank. The Zmax can take stacking matched 18350 batteries which I've found gives a better vape also. I love my Zmax's (I have several now).

I've been wating the cage for my nautilus! Where did u get yours? And OMG, do I love my zmax!! The flavor is probably the best out of all my mods. That rms mode is awesome!! The mean I can do without but ya never know, perhaps during cocktail hour I could appreciate the heavy duty draw on it lol

Anywhere Nautilus is sold should carry the cage too (hollowed metal tank) but the trick is to find them in stock. I noticed even FT has an "authentic" one now.
