I haven't gotten mine yet but @Rickwhoo thinks the OBS engine nano can close down to mtl (that's his preference) but can also be direct to lung by opening airflow. Check out the thread at ECF. It's a single coil RTA & can hold 5.2ml.

Lemo Drop, and the Bachelor Nano are both very good MTL RTA's.

I'd suggest a Lemo, right off the top of my head.

That is, since you are used to single coil building and want MTL.
The limitless RDTA is another off the top of my head that can be run single coil, but I'm not sure if it's a MTL tank.

The Limitless RDTA series is not a mtl experience at all. Still a good RDTA, I have an L+ and like it quite a lot.

If you don't mind clones and will order overseas from FT, 3F etc there are the KF clones with the KF3 mini being pretty popular.

I thought the Ammit was a MTL tank?
I too am trying to decide on a new tank. Want MTL to restricted lung draw.

My favorite MTL tanks are the original Kayfuns. Pre version 3.
Next would be the Sat22. But both of these are not really suited to today's high VG high wattage vaping styles.

Nah, the Ammit really isn't a MTL tank. It's more of a restricted to open lung hitter.

Variety's the very spice of life, that gives it all it's flavour.

I like the Kayfun lite clones I've gotten from 3F and ebay. I've had good luck with using 8 wraps of 28 guage kanthal at 2mm with a long thin wick lying flat on both sides of the deck with the juice holes completely uncovered. Never a dry hit and great flavor.

Right now I've been playing with a Vicious Ant Prodigy dripper that is great for mouth to lung using either single or dual coils as well as a Igo-w with drilled out air holes. The Prodigy is definitely better than the Igo but pricey.

OMG!!! Holy Shit! I always wondered where you went... How've you been. I still have some of your ceramic pieces you gave me in my stash along with the 5 or 6 big bricks I bought back then from Amazon...

I think you might have me confused with Bowden...the guy who made that white ceramic wick...nope I was just one of the many who were making wicks...although I got to be a beta tester for the BD 13 wick....I don't use ceramic that much anymore once in awhile...though I do have a new genny on the way to me as we speak.

You called it "Alumina parts"

I always loved using those wicks. I wonder if they could be used today in some of these newer tanks???

I think Vaperoso has figured out how to use ceramics in a tank....I'd use them except I don't trust anything coming out of china.

@pulsevape, I still have the 6 Piece Lot 1/2 x 2 x 7" Aluminum Oxide Die Rub Stones 60 Grit bricks made in USA and was thinking about maybe trying to make a wick for this, How might that work??? It could be kept pretty large where the coil will sits. I wonder how well the liquid would absord in it? What do you think???

I used to make a ceramic wick for my Kayfun lite that was just like this...if remember we called it the monkey bar wick..it worked excellently in my kayfun lite.....I don't know anything about these new tanks...the Kayfun lite was the only one I ever owned...if this engine nano works on the same principal of creating a vaccum it should work fine....this is a picture of it Gdeal came up with the idea....you'll need a diamond wheel blade and a small diamond hand file to shape the legs....you have to hot wrap the coil just like we used to do with our genny wicks......could you do me a favor and tell me where you got the rub stones.

I think it should look pretty much just like that... Just larger

I just got the Joyetech Ocular C in the mail. Now I have to play with that once it thaws out from the 25° weather. Looks cool

it might be a little tricker to build than the kayfun lite, but the saving grace is unlike the genny wicks these are shorter and bukier and to they never snap wrapping them, in some ways they are easier to build than a genny wick they don't snap when you are actually making the wick itself.,,,,,,,where did you get the rub stones from.......also if you are going to use a TC mod you could use SS wire,I don't know for sure, but SS wire maybe soft enough you won't have to hot wrap the wick....which would be a godsend.

I got those stones from ebay back in July 2013 when I was following your work. Once I stopped using the Genny tanks and got into cottons I forgot all about them.

I think that's Bowden...,.he disappeared from the forum for awhile, nobody knew what happened to him, but he resurfaced like a year later..he still has a bunch of ceramic blanks and stones stashed away.
