So guys and gals, just got my contest win from heavens gift!!! It's the 25mm pharoah dropper tank!!! I have to say for the little bit I've used it I'm impressed!!! I would have to say so far this has been the easiest build I have done yet to date!! It literally took me like 5 minutes to build on this. Take it that it's a single coil 22 gauge Bob wire 6/7 wrap 3mm I'd came out to around .44 ohms. This is my first single coil build but I am pretty impressed with the flavor and cloud production of this thing folks. I'm using this on a series unregulated box mod. As for the airflow those of you that like a TON of airflow this may not be for you. Although it does have 3 settings for airflow. I'm pretty happy with it though. Just thought I'd share my thoughts on it for some of yoy that may have been thinking of pulling the trigger on it. I like it, although I have yet to use it for long or in a dual coil set up. Feel free to ask away!!

Congratulations!

I picked one of those up a few weeks back and it's become my go-to when I'm at home. I'm still clunking my noobish ass around trying to figure this whole deal out, but I actually found the Pharaoh to be incredibly accommodating. Definitely my favorite RDA thus far in my journey.

Congrats. glad you like it. I think i'm getting so many people on this RDA lately lol. it really is amazing.

Also make sure you leave an air gap with the sliding thing. honestly I don't even close the sliding thing at all, it won't leak regardless. it's better to leave it open IMO, it wicks better

Thankyou!!! I was actually going to ask about the wicking, I've been getting a lot of dry hit lately off that build.

This is what rip suggested in his updated video for this tank as well.

Yup no problem. I've had it a couple weeks now, no dry hits no leaks just leaving it open

So basically good idea bad execution lol. After using it, don't really see the need for it honestly. Works great wide open and still doesn't leak

I have not seen it in the stainless finish, looks great. Other than being a bit over engineered and big, the Pharaoh seems like it would be right up my ally. I can put a massive single coil in there, it's got a really deep juice well and bottom air flow. I use almost all my RDA's with the airflow closed down to the smallest setting; have you tried the Pharaoh with the airflow cut down? If so, how is it?

Congrats on your win, glad you are enjoying it.

I currently have 1 air hole closed and it draws pretty nice!! I think the reason it's so tall is for flavor. You could fit a massive single coil in this thing. It's so easy to build on. Flavor is great!!

You can actually close off all holes to do a mouth to lung if wanted as well

Yeah it's awesome with a single coil. I'll probably do a single again next for better battery life. Amazing RDA

Yes it is!! Honestly I'm pretty impressed with the life I'm getting out of my batteries. I usually run .35 ohm build on my 24mm mason gemini and will get through the day on one set of batteries. I am a pretty heavy vapor too.

It's pretty basic. Nothing fancy. Not the best looking but looks good imo. I like the black and the logo. The top cap could have used a little flair though. The deck in it is amazing though

It's a little tall and I don't like the branding, otherwise it's a really nice looking RDA.

I realize this is an old post, but, I thought I would ask - anybody still using one of these?

I have had mine since sometime in October and I have never been able to get this thing right. I have built and wicked it just like Rip has shown, and the first pull after a drip is always good, then, just dry as a bone. I have tried different cottons, different thicknesses, different lengths, dual coil and single coil builds, and I have not had more than a grand total of 20 good pulls in the 4 months that I have owned this thing. Hell, I put it down for over a month because I rebuilt and rewicked it twice in one day, and never got a decent pull on it at all.

Anybody got any suggestions, before I just pitch this thing and write it off as a total loss?

Only reason to have dry hits with this one with any build is that the cotton is stuffed too tight, either inside the coil or at the slots leading to the well.

Don't use the JFC thing on it. leave it wide open. make sure your wick isn't too tight in the coil and the length of the wick should just be sitting on the bottom of the reserve

See, and I have tried super loose, all the way up to barely moving, all in the same build even, and nothing. Plenty of space on either end leading to the well so that air can get down there and nothing is choking it off. I think it's just time to write this one off and toss it. After this long, if I can't figure it out, the hassle isn't worth it any longer. I was just hoping to see if I could find any last glimmer of hope, since I just rebuilt this last night, and haven't gotten but maybe 5 decent pulls off of it. Then, I went and held onto the mod in my hand not realizing I was firing it and burned right through the cotton, so I am at work, with nothing because my cotton and all of that is at home and I won't be back there until 10 tonight.

Done done and done, and, before I burned through the cotton by accident, still nothing but dry hits.

Thanks for the help guys but this is officially a write off at this point. Gonna have to try and find a vape shop between me and class that I can hit and find something cheap to get me through the night.

burning through the cotton usually means too tight. do you have any pics?
do you have any experience wicking other RTAs or RDTAs?
the pharaoh is one of the easiest attys to build and wick IMO

Nope, no pics. At work on my desktop and can't upload anything.

I have been building for nearly 4 years, so, yeah, I have some experience. I prefer true drippers though. Usually dual coil, 6 wrap 24 gauge Ni80, coming out to about .25 is my preferred build, run at about 60 watts- don't like hot vapes at all. I do not wrap anything fancy - don't have the time, patience or eyesight for that. If I want to run anything more exotic than a parallel, I buy the coils and use those.

It just seems that I have had 0 luck with this thing from the moment I got it. Then, to add insult to injury, the bottom leaks as well. If it sits for a day or two, there is a ring around it where it rests on the mod, but it's not from the airflow, it's come through the little seam on the bottom.

I've never experienced or heard of any of these issues. it's crazy
I would like to see it through for sure. are you doing a single or dual coil in it?

Right now I have a Medusa Coils single Alien Clapton on it. Measuring out to .17 resistance. If I drip right onto the coil - which is all I can do right now - it's not bad, but I get 2 pulls then have to drip again.

I will try to get some pictures up later, when I am on a wifi network, since I'm not allowed on the one here at my office. I have snapped some, and they will better illustrate my leaking problems, but the coil has no wick in it right now.

Funnily enough, this isn't the only product I've had trouble with from Digiflavor. I ordered a Lynx back in December. When the first one arrived, the clamps were bent so bad they couldn't hold a round wire build. So, I sent it back, and the replacement came, and the clamp were great but the posts were bent so bad that if I built anything, I wasn't able to get the barrel over the coil. So that one went back and I just asked for my money back.

I don't get to buy gear but maybe once or twice a year, and I was really needing to replace my original Troll, which is what the Lynx was for. Instead, I ended up buying a Troll 25 and that is the RDA I use almost 24/7. I originally got the pharaoh to get me to work everyday, but that hasn't worked out yet.

it sounds like your burned through your cotton. any chance you can take out the cotton and look at it? I'm willing to bet it comes out in 2 pieces and not 1 piece

Oh, I know I burned through it. I took the barrel off to make sure that the cotton wasn't getting choked out, and when I made to adjust it I pulled out half of the cotton. Like I said, I had fired the mod by accident earlier when it was in my hand, and I don't know how long I held it down, since I wasn't aware that it was firing. I didn't pack the cotton in this build - in fact, I used much less than I normally do thinking that maybe I was getting the dry hits because I had over packed the last build so this build was very light on the cotton. Still the same old story. If I had any other option right now to vape on, I would just toss this mod and be done with it. But since I have another 7+ hours to go before I am home and can get my Troll, this is what I have - so I am dripping directly onto the coil, getting 1 good pull plus another acceptable one, then taking the barrel off and doing it again.

I will add that I normally use Cotton Bacon because I like the flavor and it's wicked easy. This time I used the organic cotton that came with the coils. Apart from not liking it, I don't think I handled it any differently than I do the cotton bacon.

sounds underpacked now.
personally i prefer cotton bacon. the organic cotton sheets never did it for me personally

Guys The thing with my Pharaoh is it doesnt leak through the airholes like any other tank. Airholes are perfectly dry. It comes from The Bottom, from The seams you can only see if you turn The tank upside down
