I think that was an early issue, maybe?

I bought my Alien (black/gunmetal) just after Christmas and have beat the living shit out of the thing. A tiny bit of wear on the bottom and that's it.

Maybe I got lucky, but the finish on mine seems as good as any mod I own (I have 50+).

I had a blue one when it first came out. i traded it for a gpriv and it still looked brand new when i traded it. I got the black/gold one about a month later. still looks brand new. I also just got the gold/black one a few days ago and might grab one of these new one so yeah paint hasn't been an issue for me personally

really loving the 3 but the 2 would look sick with my purple TFV8 i just got. We need more green attys

Those new colors definitely look nice. With my experiences with cheap paint I opted not to get my heart set on a nice color combo and plan on stuffing it in a silicone sleeve.

I have had my alien for about 3 months. It has one chip on it and wear on the bottom. I am not hard on my stuff but it's been beat on enough where if paint was an issue...I'd see it

I think the paint issue is gone. I have a feeling there was like 1 shipment with bad paint. Cause I only seen a few of them and they were purchased a while ago. Paratech has like 13 aliens with no issues. I had 3 at one point but traded one. No issues either

They should of done 6 with the frame thing from 2, but you could always get #2 and strip it. I just stripped and brushed a freinds janky looking 3 month old alien and it looked so much better with raw zinc alloy.

The pink looks great for a female...would definitely buy if my wife vaped. Im trying to get my hands on a cheap alien(mod only) to strip it and chrome it out. Been looking on cl, let go and offer up but these fools are crazy. Some asking 90.00. Mine is currently skinnned...guess i got the bad batch

No video necessary, you just take it apart and sand it. the screen frame comes off as one peice everything else included the fire button is zinc alloy and can be taken down to raw metal.

I prefer brushed finish on zinc alloy bc seems to tarnish more slowly.
