Where to get large sheets of mesh without FDA crap?

So having rolled up all the 325 mesh I had into wicks I quite naturally went looking for more and ran into one disappointment after another. Those vape outlets online who even have mesh, and there are very few, have only pathetic tiny little pieces of it and on top of that they want you to prove your age by one draconian means or another, such as taking a picture of yourself holding up you ID and emailing that to them. I told them to shove that right up their asses and that I would never submit to that bullshit to buy anything from anyone no matter how badly I wanted it. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this.

So why is it they will only sell you those incredibly stupid tiny little pieces of mesh? I want sheets of mesh, a foot by two feet at least!

Well I went looking on Amazon, and found that if it's not sold for vaping purposes you can get mesh for "filtration" in large sheets, but after ordering a sheet of what was advertised as 325 mesh from one supplier I got a sheet of what was a much finer mesh, either 400 or 500. Okay, I can use it but I'd rather have the 325 mesh. Now I'm thinking maybe I need to look around Europe for mesh, since they will sell you vape gear without that fascist FDA bullshit, but it's still hard to find mesh in any decent size sheet at all.

Anyone got a recommendation?

They also ship to the US via Royal Mail, it's not bad either it only takes a couple of weeks. I've ordered a lot of 317L from them.

Okay, so, I've always just bought mesh by the numbers 500, 400, 325, and I'm not sure what the microns thing is about. That might be why I got much finer mesh than I thought I'd ordered. I never ran into this microns thing until just recently. Now I'm not sure how to get what I want.

This would seem to be what I want, but I'm not really sure as they get a lot more technical about it than I'm used to. It used to be I could just order 325 mesh from vape sites and get what I wanted, but now they are confusing me.

Yeah they give a lot of details, but that is #325 so you should be good to go. As you can see you can get all the way up to a 10 meter by 1.5 Meter Roll ;)

You might wanna get one of the larger rolls and keep a good supply on had ;)

I use Cotton so no worries there for me. But I have been stockpiling quality wire, I've literally got 10's of thousands of feet of it in my Stash. Most the very thin gauge wire I use for making Claptons. But I'm well stocked. Some little voice keeps whispering in my ear that when the FDA bullshit comes down full force quality wire in the gauges I use will be difficult to find. If not, I just don't need to buy wire for a very, very long time if ever ;)

I got by the saying, hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

Yes, and I'm seeing vapor stores go out of business here all over the place. It's so very sad. I drove past one yesterday I did business with for 3 years, and they are just gone. Those left in my neighborhood can hardly sell you anything because of the security camera footage in them that can be subpoenaed by the FDA. Did you know that the fascist FDA even has it's own SWAT team? I could not believe that shit!

Oh boy, another choking on the koolaid. It would be helpful if people would bother educating themselves on what terms mean before randomly barfing them out of their spew holes. Simply regurgitating the liberal toilet paper word of the day is tired.

It's been noted by several vaping blogs (MBV, Vapes.com, etc) that VP Pence spoke out against FDA deeming regs. Saying Pence is out to kill vaping is horseshit, more regurgitated koolaid. Some days I think people just roll out of bed and smear their premature conclusions about like they do the jelly on their toast.

Everyone buys fuel to put in their car so they're obviously for big oil and directly responsible for fish and wildlife that have suffered at the hands of oil spills. :rolleyes:

that is actually spot on. if you buy it you are directly partly responsible. its called voting with your wallet. its the only real vote we have these days.

if we werent buying it they wouldnt be doing the evil shit it takes to get it to us. so yes if you buy fuel you are def part of all the nasty shit that comes with it. myself included, but im working on that. are you?

we need more responsible consumers/americans.

How often are you changing out your wicks and why? Just curious because I go at least several months before I rebuild coil/wick, but then again I don't vape as often as I used to before, and most of the juices I vape don't have any sweeteners added, so don't have too much of a gunking issue. But still wondering if I should be changing them out more frequently. Thx!

man I rebuild weekly....and I use no sweetners...or NETs....but lately I've been using ss wire and that has really helped alot on the gunking issue...alot of the time I'll just rinse my wick and retorch it, then wrap a new coil on it.I vape heavy VG juices though.I think that's the main culprit.
