Like using this
site. It along with some comprehension of Ohm's Law, an Ohm/Volt meter for testing builds on are all helpful. Gradually learning, consider myself intermediate to advanced. Don't ask if builds I do are alright too much now.
Last week I had a deep seated urge to use a dual Clapton set up. Knew that it was a little risky doing so on a single 18650 battery. Did it anyway because I also knew who was using the mod, me, myself, and I. The very moment I experienced battery drop off, pulled a slightly warm battery out of the mod and began building a single coil only.
Fortunately, nothing terrible happened. It could have and been quite terrible. Was I being stupid or ignorant, arrogant? No. I did it knowing the risk/s involved as well as knowing of having awareness of battery drop off. It was something I felt a need to do. "What's the limit?" I found
my limit and probably will not push it any more so.
The application, or choosing to not apply knowledge is wisdom. Sometimes one gets wisdom from Cracker Jack boxes or books and sometimes from the doing themselves. Can I say either is the better way to go? Nope. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. A person needs to balance their own path/s for themselves. Only my two pennies, all the standard disclaimers, warranties apply.
