That Aetheon board is one of the most under rated boards on the market, IMHO.

Variety's the very spice of life, that gives it all its flavour.

My only complaint about Innokin is they have shit customer service. 90 day warranties are bullshit in my book.

Yeah my Coolfire died after 6 months. Contacted Innokin and they were basically like fuck you you're past our 90 day warranty. No more Innokin for me. No offer to fix it or help me out in any way. So now I say fuck you Innokin.

I have an MPV-20 watt about 2 years old I use from time to time. I also have the Coolfire IV 18650TC and it works great for the most part. The worst battery life of any mod I have including DNA75's. The anti-dry burn doesn't work very well with an RDA but the TC does work well.

I like the mod a lot but I started using it in power mode with a tank. Definitely an under rated chip though.

I have 6 Innokin mods, well, 10 if you count the 4 vv3s I got when I first started. But the 6 in current rotation are 4 original Coolfire IVs and 2 Coolfire IV TC-18650-75w. I consider Innokins some of the best mods on the market, I just wish they would allow watt settings of less than .5w; my preferred wattage is usually 9.6w-9.8w, but with Innokins I'm stuck with just 9.5w or 10w. So they haven't gotten as much use lately as my Sigelei Minibooks or iPV Minis.

Innokin makes some fantabulous mods. I love my old CoolfireIV plus but gave it to fiance as he needed a higher wattage mod, he was using the mvp 20 watt.

Well, those who vape at much higher wattages probably don't find it that big a problem; I really doubt there's a lot of diff between 80w and 80.5w, or even 80w and 85w! But at my low wattages... .2 of a watt does make a difference.

I'm a firm believer that going up 1 watt at a time is best lol. I hate the .1 adjustments. I think collectively we decided that .1 is fine up to 20 then .5 to 50 then a full watt after that

I'm sure that's true; I haven't heard too many fussing about the Innokin .5w adjustments, because I'm one of the lowest wattage vapers around here. :D

So can anyone tell me why there is such a big diff in ramp up time. What affects such things. Is it the chip? Battery or something weird. Of like thw software. Becuse from mod to mod u can really6 tell sometimes.

It's mostly dependent on the chip but your wattage and build plays a part as well.

Primarily the actual mass of the coil, the literal amount of metal; more metal takes longer to heat up. This is exactly why I could never get a good vape from 28ga; it has such low resistance that in order to get up around the resistance I want, it takes way too much metal, too many wraps; for 2 ohm coils, 29ga is a much better choice, as it only takes 8-9 wraps, and 9-10w watts can heat that pretty quickly.

I had a 40 watt Cool Fire IV with an internal battery. I used that thing everyday with my Aspire Nautilius Mini. It eventually died. I won an Isub V tank and it broke after 10 days of light use. When I asked Inookin how to fix it they told me the adhesive must have come out and they don't have warranties on their tanks. I've never bought another Innokin product.

Would be interesting to know which are supporting their customers. Not like there's JD Powers for vape gear.

Is a 90 day warranty typical for mainstream products? I see my Battlestar has 90 days.

Maybe some vendors extend the warranty too?

I still have my Innokin MVP 20w in mint condition...I don't really use it on a daily basis but on occasion ill fully charge it then use it till it reads 3.7v then put it back up for storage again...I found them for sale still and they still are in the $40.00 range for 20 watts.:giggle:

I gave up 1200 mah to get the shape and feel of the CF4 100tc, but same chip I believe.

I have grown to really like small mods, if they fire quickly and have a little style to them. That narrows the field.

Thought about Wismec rx mini and Tarot Nano but both seem pricey now for what they offer in power and mah. Cuboid mini looks low on mah.

I know it is dated but my ipv d3 keeps doing its job as a reliable little beater mod. If ecig.com runs a $20 sale again, I would get another.

My first mod was a 60W Innokin MVP 3.0 Pro... It was as solid as could be for me and the battery was fantastic (4500 mAh). I used and abused the hell out of it, and it keeps on keeping on. I rarely use it anymore but it still works like a champ. On a side note, one cool feature it had was a full size USB port. You can use it to charge your phone in a pinch, and I've done it many times.
