I got this 3 weeks ago and I can't seem to get a build in it I like I'm building for a noisy cricket I'm building with 24ga but everything I build is to hot I like around 420-450 on temp type vaper I'm finding I really dislike this rda lol I payed way to much for not to like it

My go to on atties like this is dusl 7 wrap 2.5 mm 26 AWG Kanthal A1 at about 45 watts... 4.2 volts... on a mech, I run contact coils. On a regulated device, I run spaced.

You're building on a series mech, you probably want to be around a 0.5 or higher. With 8v you will have a hard time getting a cooler vape.
That tugboat is one of my favorite rdas, but, it has smaller postholes. The RDA is from a time when most of us were using 24g kanthal or nichrome.
For a series build, I would go with 8/9 wraps of 26g at 3mm diameter and work from there.

Ya this is my 1st 8v mech I norm like claptons I seem to get a cooler vape from them but I'm guessing the ramp up time will be faster with 8v over 4

You're gonna be hard pressed to get a series build into a Tugboat... not saying it can't be done, just saying it ain't easy...
