Need Help With Coils

Hey everyone so i made a quick dual 26 gauge 6 wrap kanthal coil and installed them, i made sure there were no hot spots and i cottoned it many different ways including not putting much in putting a lot in and a medium amount but i run into this problem every time. i keep getting hot spots while its juiced and i'm vaping on it. i have it on a kangertech kbox 200w, on the alliance v2 rda, running at 0.32 ohms. i've used it all the way up at 200w and even 100 and 80 and same thing. i've checked connections and they are fine, i've tried squeezing the coils tightly together and spreading them apart and i keep getting this problem. i had this issue with my previous prebuilt tiger coils and my prebuilt alien claptons and i've tried everything i can think of, if you can help it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Advancedvape is the best guy to teach you how to install coils.... Watch the video above and see all of his tank and RDA videos.... Look for your model ...... YouTube..... I watched about 30 videos before I picked it up.......

Thigten the grub screws and scratch them again....

If you have hot legs and are NOT using a SS mesh wick.. the issue is most likely weak post to wire connection.......
A tight screw doesn't equal tight connection... if what the screw is tight against is the wrapper.

In the old days.... when used claptons on wrap on post aties.... I would have to remove the wrapper from the legs.. to 1 get the wire around the post and 2 make a connection.

If those are the old days guess I was around in the ancient days when mods only went up to 15 watts and all you had was round and ribbon wire lol.

Those were the days.... I started with an EGO 1100mah battery and protank3. Next was tube and Kayfun 3.1.....
went mech instead of regulated BECAUSE I thought I wanted to vape in the 20 to 30 watt range..... Fact Is I still tend to prefer 15watts. So a MVP would have been fine. Except for not firing low enough ohm.

I hear you man. My first was a halo triton. Then it was mvp2 with a protank 2. I prefer 25-30 watts nowadays but I still love taking out the patriot rda for old times sake lol.

I personally don't care for it. It doesn't seem like you get as good a vape from it. That's just my experiences though.

You mean TC.. yeah I hear you.. been playing with it for 6 months... think I just hit on my first good TC build... simple 9 wraps of 28 ss at 1ohm 23watts 400 to 420 degrees. Still prefer VW or unregulated.
