Didn't see a thread yet and since I just got mine in, seemed worth it to post.
It's the latest quad battery mod boasting "the most power" at 365 watts (except wismec upped the rx300 to 400 watts now via firmware) it's a quad series mod (not series parallel) works in 2 or 4 battery mode. same screen as the fuchai 213 plus. Has a nice build quality to it for sure.

Will be interesting to see the test results.
that's for dam sure. it's a pain in the dick to do testing. thats why i run my tests in batches. i did like 8 mods this past weekend. now i have to do 2 more this week cause predator and snow wolf. then i should get a break from it

Quite cool, when you mention it is series do you mean the input voltage is 16.8V? Do you have to change settings to use it in dual 18650 mode due to the change in input voltage, or is the board designed to run at this wide voltage range input wise?

I look forward to seeing the results of testing. I have no need myself for the higher power quad mods, but they are still interesting to me. What are your first impressions?

1st impressions are good. The mod input voltage is 16.8 fully charged. U don't have to adjust any modes the mod limits it to 220 when your input voltage shows 2 batteries.

Sounds good from your impressions, and also I like the quad series set up. That does allow for some real high power use! I realise the 2S parallel quads do as well too, just in a different way.

You mention the predator not hitting 50A- I have no reason to not believe this, and I don't need that kind of power, although have mods that do output this much current if I need it.
How do you test the output yourself? I don't have any equipment to test those kinds of thing myself. Is it due to the mod being a dual 18650 device it can't output this current?

I think it is my IPV3 Li which states 45A output in the manual, but also the same on the input which I think is very high, so likely wrong.

well my theory is that they label it that way because the chip can do it in a 3 or 4 battery set up. they seem to use the same chip in like the rx300, rx200s, evic primo, hedron, etc. the rx300 (even before the firmware) did 50 amps IIRC, the hedron also did 50 amps IIRC (i'll have to double check) but the evic primo topped out at around 35-37 like most dual battery mods do. Similar to the DNA250 chip which does like 50-55 amp output. they list it that way because the chip itself can do it when using triple battery or a lipo but the dual battery 167 watt mods don't seem to do it (i just tested the therion 167 I'll have to look at the results again) so I think they list it that way because the chip itself can output that many amps but only when used in triple or quad battery configs. When used in dual battery mode it drops down to around 35 which is pretty standard. most mods i tested that are dual top off around 25 amps and most triple and quads top off around 50 amps. But i think it's misleading to say it does 50 amps when in the config it's installed in, it's limited to 35ish.

as far as the testing output i use an oscilloscope and calculations based on the known factors (aka ohms law) I haven't tested the predator yet, but based on my previous i doubt it hits 50 amps as it seems to be the same chip as the evic primo (which they say 50 amps on and it doesn't hit it). but I'll find out for sure soon enough

The spec says 50A CL. L stands for limit. Doesn't mean it can do it. ;)
My point is 40A CL for a four cell device is low.
My Yihi GX550, a two cell device, also has a 50A CL. I'd be more inclined to believe it can actually do it given its capability and cost.
DNA devices, by far are the most faithful reaching claimed ability.

the Yihi is a special beast (and prices accordingly) in my test it topped out at 40 but it's a dead accurate device. while most mods are usually dozens of watts off, the yihi was never more then 3 watts off in power mode and more often then not dead on accurate

The batteries sag so hard nobody will ever know.
possibly, but to be fair with the same batteries (LG HB6) the alien output 40 amps, the kaos 37, and the predator 36 so the fact with the same batteries it still falls 4 amps short of the alien makes it pretty clear to me it can't push 50. it should at least push 40 since i know those batts can do that
