I am currently looking to buy a new mod to go with my Uwell D1 tank. I recently had purchased 2 smok alien 220 mods. The first one fried. 4 weeks later the second one won't fire. So needless to say I'm not wanting to try it again. Really disappointed me to cause I liked it. So any advice on one that you really like that will go with my tank? I absolutely love my Uwell D1 tanks!

If you can kill 2 regulated mods in a couple weeks.... I don't think an unregulated mod is the answere........

I found out this morning that the vape shop I purchased from got a bad shipment of them. Mine were not the only ones that were bad! I've been vaping for 3 years and these two mods were the only 2 I've had a problem with. I was just looking to see some ideas of what other people were recommending these days.
Ok then the question is how do you want to vape your tank? What wattage target are you after using what kind of builds..... do you need want 200 watts?

What's your price range? If you can swing it, I would consider DNA from lost vape, Hcigar or Vaporshark. With the 200 / 250 chip, you are basically set in terms of power and options. I wish I had gone with a DNA from the onset. Had I done that, I wouldn't have nearly two dozen mods collecting dust on a shelf.
Warranty replacement, but the Smoant Battlestar is a good Alien alternative.
I'd be using a new replacement Alien. Sigelei Kaos and IPV Vesta are decent low cost alternatives. Of course Daniel just pulled the press fitted 510 pin off the Vesta with little effort on his live youtube video yesterday, so the jury is still out on that one.
I have a few (dual battery) mods that I am very happy with:
SMOK Alien 220 - no problems with mine
Tesla Nano 120 - solid and fires every time
Vape Forward Classic - I have had this for over a year and as long as you only want to use a 22mm tank, it has been a solid daily beater
Asmodus Minikin 2 - I just recently purchased this mod but I like it so much that I can't put it down.
