Vape Pens????????

I've been vaping for over a year and I want to try a Vape Pen, but I dont understand how they work with different coils. I was looking at the Smok V8 Stick Pen 3000mAh, 3.4V - 4.2V. So I understand when the battery is full it vapes at a higher Voltage, and as the battery dies the Voltage gets lower. But how does it work with coils rated different Ohm's?

If I use a 0.6ohm coil rated 30-40w, what wattage does the Vape Pen use? Does it automatically go to the correct wattage? does it know the correct wattage for each kind coil?

What if I put in a 0.2ohm coil rated 60-70w? At max voltage (4.2V) with a 0.2ohm coil that equals 88 Watts Max on the Pen, Is that to high for a Vape Pen?, is their a limit??

Like the Uwell coil 0.3ohm is rated 60w+, but the iLeaf 0.3ohm coil is rated 35w+...... does the Vape Pen use the same wattage for both coils? (since their the same ohms) Or does the Vape Pen know that the Uwell coil requires a higher Wattage????

The Smok Vape Pen at 4.2v with a 0.8ohm coil that equals a max of 22 watts. But the Uwell Crown II 0.8ohm coil is rated 35-45w. So I cant vape a 0.8ohm coil above 22W with a Pen????

Usually a mod wont fire if you exceed its limits...I personally dont trust the ratings imposed by the manufacturer but if the mods specification say it can fire a .8 ohm coil then it should.

The ratings on a coil are a recommended range...You may want to vape it at 22 watts or its max rating...If a coil is rated for a higher wattage it most likely wont perform at its best way below or way over its power rating...If you want to subohm at lower ohms id recommend a better device.

So Vape Pen MAX WATTS at 4.2v with 0.8ohm is 22 Watts. So Does that mean these Vape Pens are designed for Low Ohm coils only??

Because the Lower the Ohm's the better it works with a Pen battery.

Higher Ohm Coils wont work on a Vape Pen Right???

Higher ohm coils will work fine.. just producing lower wattage. No the atty might have too much air flow to vape at higher ohms affectively.

What are you vaping on NOW..... Chances are it works exactly like the Vape pen your looking at. Unless you are using a regulated mod.

Usually most devices can fire as high a 3.0ohms...the lower ohm number is the minimum ohm it can fire safely....If the vape pen specifications say the max is .5 ohm then thats as low as you can vape safely...Most devices wont fire below the rated ohm range.
