Is the Sigelei J150 any good?

I was looking at the Sigelei J150 mod and could not find any unfavorable reviews. Does anyone have experience with it? I was looking at the one with the li battery by I think they have one now with dual 18650s.

I have a couple Sigelei 150 watt mods, not sure if they are the J150 or not....They are fine in power mode but don't do TC even though they claim to.

I have one it's not a bad mod. But it all depends on what your wanting to do with it. Battery life is really good but the TC is horrible compared to my G2 and it's really finicky to get setup to where it works half decently.

Thanks, figured nothing could beat the g2. Funny when you watch reviews and they all talk about how good it is inTC. Guess they don't know hohm tech. I am a little spoiled because of that mod. I want to branch out but decided against a dna mod. Don't know much more than that.

I thought it was good too till I started making more advanced coils then it was like the TC was frying my juices with fused and alien claptons.

I can throw the same atty with the same coil in it on my G2 and it can be running so hot it burns my throat and the flavor will be pretty much on point. Throw it on my J150 and it won't be quiet as hot but a more comfortable vape but it'll be like the coil is burning my juice.

I experienced this first hand when my G2 first came in the mail and was trying out the SS mode and was finding the vape way to hot for my liking.

You're not going to beat the FSK chip....you can buy the chips.....but I don't know any modders to put the chips in mods.

Looking at the smoant battlestar now. I have a few fsk mods now.

Edit: between that and the charoan will be the one.

I don't believe Sigelei makes a single mod which actually does TC correctly....similar to a DNA or Yihi performance. They work fine in power mode though.

Me too, but I'm not crazy about the square box they stuff the chips in.....someone at Hohmtech should hit a design school for a couple semesters.

I might have to look into buying just the individual chip then. I'm wanting to get a squonker and I've been contemplating buying a second G2 and taking it apart for the board and battery terminals and making my own.

Cheapest way to go FSK would be to get a Hohmslice for $30. You could attach it to a parallel sled, if you wanted.

Absolutely correct except the slice is gone from vaporcube's site right now and, you'll be limited to 101 watts if you use the slice board. That may be suitable for a sqonker...I don't know since I never owned one.

101 watts or not it performs just as well in TC as the g2.
