Hello everyone!

So I bought my very own E-Cig today and have been using it all day happily.

However, when I got home I felt a little weird. I went to the toilet and I have to be frank, it wasn't a pretty sight (if you get what I mean :/).

And if that wasn't bad enough, I felt dizzy for around half an hour afterwards, I felt really hot and cold at the same time I was sweating etc then I just ran to the toilet and threw up.

After I threw up I felt fine.

It's possible that I ate something that didn't agree with me or something but I'm not ruling out the possibility that it was the E-Cig.

Anyone else experienced this? And if you do you think it was the E-Cig that caused it?

Thanks, Any help is appreciated!

My juice is 6mg. What's the difference Thomas? Also, I have used friend's e-cigs before and not had any issue.

Sounds like too much nicotine! Or you simply have a little bug.

As Giraut said, how much nicotine is in your ecig, and how much did you smoke previously?

Also, I suspect it could be food poisoning. The fact that I felt great after I threw up leads me to believe I just ate something I needed to out of get me.

I used to smoke quite a lot back in the day, then I quit for a long time. But I have recently started sharing ciggies with friends and I didn't want to get back into smoking (which is why I bought the e-cig)

Good idea! Could be nic overdose, or as you say you could have eaten something bad. Only way to know for sure is to try again. As you've given up you may need a lower level of nic - some of those throwaway ecigs are at least 18mg, which could be too much.

It's not a disposable one. It's not a pro mod or anything but it wasn't some random thing I found at a gas station. The strength is at 6mg but I was hammering it hard all day. I will take it easy tomorrow and hopefully I will feel better :) Thanks for the help everyone!

I recently when through this same topic pass month, I bought certain juices that were pg 50/50 or even more pg and in the past I thought I just hated the juice because it did not taste right and made my face itch and upset stomach bad....well I would just toss to the side but occasionally I would try new brand and it would happen again. I since started buying just vg juices and no issues. I would do some research and readings, I am still not sure what the heck to be honest

Come to think of it, I did buy bad PG once that made a couple friend and me sick. Could be something as simple as the juice containing a bad ingredient.

Yeah, I just don't know  I am not allergic to anything that I am aware of but the side effects were real, everyone raved about Perfection Vapes so I bought 4 50 ml bottles and I felt like the stuff was trying to kill me lol
weird for sure

Yeah I will :) The juice I am using is 6mg Fire and Ice (a blend of Cinnamon and Menthol) I have no idea if it's VG or PG, I don't even know what those mean (can you tell I'm new to vaping? haha). The shop I bought them from is a trusted supplier and many of my friends use this shop and haven't reported any problems such as this. I was either a pleb and hit it too hard or I just had food poisoning. It is possible that I had an allergic reaction but I tested several different flavors DAYS before I actually bought the e-cig and didn't feel like this. Maybe it's just because I had more today then I have before. But I will continue to use it tomorrow (perhaps a little less) and I will report the results on this thread.

Thanks for all the help everyone! :)

I tend to think you had a bug or a bad sushi roll.

But be careful and if this crops up again you may have an allergy.

What are PG and VG?

If you are new to the world of electronic cigarette smoking, it is highly possible that this is your first time reading about PG and VG. However, as soon as you start browsing the catalogues of online electronic cigarette suppliers out there, you will frequently encounter these two terms. Before you purchase your first e cigarette and all of the essential components that go with it, it is important that you take the time to know the answer first to the question: what are PG and VG? This is because PG and VG are the main bases of e-liquid solutions, and both can greatly impact your vaping experience.

How E-Liquids Turn To Vapor

So what are PG and VG? Before we answer this question that has been on your mind ever since you first entered the world of electronic cigarettes, let us first take a closer look at how electronic cigarettes work. E-liquids, which are thenicotine base solutions used in electronic cigarettes, need to be placed in acontainer in order for it to function properly. This container, or carrier, holds thissolution in suspension. When you take a puff on your e cig, heat will then be applied onto the nicotine base solution in order to produce vapor.

All about PG and VG

So now that we have covered the basics of how e-liquids turn to vapor, let us now answer your question: what are PG and VG? PG stands for Propylene Glycol, whileVG stands for Vegetable Glycerin. These two components are what make up most of the e-liquid that your electronic cigarette contains. Both of these maincomponents are essentially non-toxic, meaning that they are safe for the use of human beings. Aside from this, PG and VG also have the ability to be easily emulsified with other ingredients as well as to carry various flavors well.

As mentioned above, both the Propylene Glycol and the Vegetable Glycerin are essentially non-toxic. Both of these e-liquid components have been deemed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as “Generally Recognized as Safe” forhuman consumption. This means that even before you have started usingelectronic cigarettes and inhaling the vapor produced by the e-liquids that they contain, you have already consumed them through processed food or you might have already applied them onto your skin by using various cosmetic products.

The Benefits of Propylene Glycol

It is also important that you learn more about the benefits of Propylene Glycolaside from knowing the answer to your question: what are PG and VG? One of the things that set PG apart from VG is that is has a somewhat lower level of flavor of its own. This is because PG is thinner compared to VG. E-liquids that are made up of pure Propylene Glycol or those that are made of mostly PG work well withelectronic cigarettes that have small openings such as the eGo-Tank.

This type of e cigarettes have smaller openings wherein the e-liquid travels in order for it to reach the heating component of the cigarette, commonly theheating coil. When use all on its own, the vapor that is produced by Propylene Glycol have a thinner mouth feel and taste. In general, you may feel that e-liquids made up entirely of Propylene Glycol or those that are made of mostly PGhave defined flavors compared to e-liquids that are comprised of or mostly ofVegetable Glycerin.

The Benefits of Vegetable Glycerin

When used on its own, you will find that Vegetable Glycerin is a little on the sweet side. So when used as a component in e-liquids, VG makes it a bit harder for the notes of certain flavors to be detected. Aside from this, VG is also slightly thickercompared to PG, so the vapor that the former produces is thicker. As a result of the thicker amount of vapor that Vegetable Glycerin produces, you may think that e-liquids comprised purely or mostly of VG produces a higher amount of vapor compared to that of e-liquids made purely or mostly of PG. Some people also prefer VG-based e-liquids because they have certain allergies to Propylene Glycol and other chemical compounds.

Which is Better, PG or VG?

So now that we have answered your question about what are PG and VG, you might be wondering as to which is better, PG or VG? We cannot give you the exact answer, as your choice and decision will all boil down to your personal preference, your e cig smoking requirements, and your tastes. One of the most important things that you need to know about Propylene Glycol is that this is aman made synthetic chemical, while Vegetable Glycerin, as you can already infer by its term, is a component derived from plants.

With this being said, if you know that you are sensitive or if you have allergies to chemical compounds, it may be better for you to use an e-liquid comprisedpurely or mostly of VG. If you have experienced any adverse reactions such asthroat dryness when using an e-liquid based from Propylene Glycol, it is definitely a wise choice to switch over immediately to an e-liquid based fromVegetable Glycerin. On the other hand, if you are not sensitive or allergic to PGand you would want something that will enhance the flavors of your e-liquids, then you might want to go for a PG-based e-liquid.

I looked it up for you:)

If you would of started to itch all over, or got hives, or had shortness of breath and bad facial flushing, that would have been an allergic reaction. I suspect since you barfed and felt better afterwards, you might of had food poisoning or a bout of the stomach ick.

Try something other than cinnamon and menthol, you might be sensitive to cinnamon.

Just a heads up. You can easily update the same post by clicking the "edit" button, and starting off with [UPDATE] and typing the update from there. Then post a comment saying "updated" and it will send a notification to everyone that the thread has a reply, and then theyll see your update, and so will anyone coming into the thread.
