Goon RDA - Clamp Higher Than The Other One

I bought a goon a few months ago and never got the chance to use it up until now. Upon puling the top cap off I noticed one of the clamps is higher than the other one. Is this normal or should I contact my local shop and have it replaced?

Granted, I just have a clone of the goon, so, how similar troubleshooting advice would be I'm not sure, but I have seen a similar issue. Both "posts" are removable, if I'm not mistaken...so it's possibly just a seating issue. You can try unscrewing that section and then putting it back in, making sure to apply even force on the top of the post while doing so. Mine actually made a snapping sound as it clicked into place when it was fully seated

One side comes out by removing the screw on the bottom, the other is held in by the copper pin and should screw out easily

Done it many times to squonkify authentic Goons

That would be good, not sure about the side that takes a regular screw, but I think 528 Custom charges like $10 to get an authentic replacement pin that goes up the 510 thread

Nope, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get them to line up properly.
