Just curious if any one knows why Craving Vapor has only 2 orange Hexohm V3's for sale in their entire inventory? Can they possibly be out of stock of EVERY other color and style of the V3 besides a couple orange ones? Is the V4 coming out soon? WTF??? Had the cash to buy a blue or white V3, but instead I just went to an undisclosed Chinese site and bought a 1+1 clone (blue, very nice!) for about 50 bucks. I'm a little disappointed, but Ill try the clone for awhile until I find a used authentic I want. Come on, CV. Make a few, for goodness sake....:cuss2:

I was just at the National Vape Expo at Foxwoods where they had a huge booth. One of the biggest there. They had every color imaginable there including Stabwood boxes that they only sell at shows.

People fucking love Hex Ohm's, especially now that CV has their own proprietary regulator board that can push up to 180W. Back when they were limited to OKL-T20 20A chips you didn't see AS many, but now that the V3 can put out enough power to satisfy 95% of vapers and is in a NICE ass enclosure without the old Hammond lean, people are buying the fuck out of them. I've been to a few meets and conventions and I've seen stab wood / resin HO V3's for almost $1,000. People were still buying them up like mad.

So, their inventory is probably in the hands of vapers now. It's one of the only retail box mods available right now that I actually like. Watch their stock like a hawk, when they come back in stock buy what you want. I'd assume that's what a lot of people are doing because most websites offering Hex Ohm V3's have them fly out of stock within 2-3 days.

Yep, Stabwood V3's at Foxwoods were starting at $750 and went as high as $1000. They were selling the hell out of them. I heard in Atlanta at the last convention they took 25 and sold all 25.

They did, I'm pretty sure that was the convention I saw them at and if so, those 25 Hex's didn't last thirty minutes at the booth before being cleared the fuck out by a hoard of people digging through their wallets and calling their banks to see if they could afford them.

As a modder, when I look at a Hex Ohm I see a custom mod. I don't see a retail, Chinese plastibox that most other mods are the epitome of these days. I know it is a retail mod, but it could fool a lot of people into thinking it isn't. They're nice, they're made very cleanly and the new enclosures are just fucking gorgeous.

I was at the National Vape Expo at Foxwoods yesterday. I was hired by a vaping website to do interviews there. They hired a professional camera man to follow me around. One of my interviews was Pops from Craving Vapor. He has a ZZ Top style beard and he's the guy that hand makes all the Stabwoods for them. Great guy, a real character. His work is what I would call a masterpiece. Just phenomenal. He's one great guy as well that has a real passion for this community. I got to hold several of them and they are real special pieces. No two alike. I never thought a mod could be this beautiful until I saw his work in person. Truly superb.

All I know is they lost a sale, and I am just a little disappointed I could not find one on their website. I was at the CV booth in October during the Vapor Dynasty in Phoenix, and they did have an array of different colors to chose from at a fair price. Unfortunately, I did not have the cash at that time. Guess I could have checked vapecrawler, etc.. to find a V3 from a re-seller, but again it just seems a little bush league not to have them available to the general public on the official CV website IMO.

Wish I'd known bro, they were dropping them at the show for $149. I would've picked one up for you and shipped it to you. Even after paying for the shipping you would've been ahead of the game.

I don't think the issue comes from having too little stock, as I see Hex Ohm V3's EVERYWHERE at meets and such and a lot of people have them. I think the issue comes from just how popular they've proven to be, making it hard to keep the supply up to the very high demand. It's not always so easy to just up production, as it's costly and you never know when the inevitable crash will come when your product ages or something more attractive comes out.

They have them in stock at the vape shop not too far from me. They're $189 so if you'd like I could grab one and send it .

Damn 149$?! That's cray-cray. I'm just 3 hours north of Austin, Tx I may just have to take a weekend and go to C.V. just so I can check out thier shop. I bought a red v3 last year and so far its the only mod that I haven't had issues with. I put 3 mods to rest that I bought since then because of one thing or another. Just got a hohm-slice and I'm hoping it holds up. Either way I always know the hex-ohm has my back.

Yeah, it was a show price and believe me they sold a ton of them. Hohm Slice is a great mod. The mod will hold up but the paint will not.

Yeah I figured that about the paint. I was contemplating wrapping it. Possibly jwraps however my pops owns a sign shop and does vehicle wraps so I may see what he could do..maybe. Then again it might save me a headache if I just went through jwraps. I wish more mods had rubberized coating options. Shit one of my accounts spray Kevlar on vehicles in all different colors. Now how awesome would that be on a mod?!

I've used a Hex V3 clone, I wasn't the biggest fan. At least, the 'V3' that came out before the actual V3 did. It has some mystery China regulator in it that can't handle over 20A, yet it claims higher. It's not an OKL, though. I know this because I've burned out two of these over a 3-4 month period vaping it in the recommended range. I've taken them apart too, and what I saw was not an OKL.
