High VG flavors

I have generally DIY'ed and vaped 50/50. I made a couple 75% VG batches with the same flavor percentages as before but the flavors seemed to be a little "weaker" than before.

Do higher VG recipes generally need a little more flavor added? Or more time to steep so the flavor "sinks in"? Or do I just need to lay off the crack.

both.
PG carries flavor better than VG and high VG juices need to steep longer and generally need a bit more flavoring as well.

It's been said (by people that know a LOT more than I do about it) that VG doesn't carry flavor as well as PG. You probably need to shake your mixture really well several times and give it a day or so to blend so you get the full flavor.

On a side note with higher VG mixing. It helps to mix the VG base above room temp (80F to 90F). You also will not need as much (or any) sweetener due to the natural sweetness of of VG. Most of the time my 70/30 mixes may have a flavoring at 2.5% while in a max vg mix I might bump it up to 3 to 3.5% as an example. I tend not to play with PG anymore unless I am mixing for friends

I kinda think it depends a lot on your vape set up as well, if what you are using is dialed in for 50/50 juice its probably a tank I would assume so 75/25 just might need a little different tuning of your device, coils etc. I myself have gone from 50/50 to complete max VG and havent adjusted my normal flavoring guidelines Ive always used at all but what I have changed is my style of vaping. I posted a recipe yesterday using only 2.76% total flavoring so for me translated into a final mix my juice was 97.24% VG and it was a shake and vape mix for me. I agree colder VG takes a little longer to mix completely and warmer obviously is thinner. but at the same time I never intentionally heat anything before during or after mixing. I feel as you work through everything you'll be back to using whatever % you used to. I dont know though thats just me

I'm still completely new to DIY mixing, but my first bottle appears like just now it's entered its final week of steeping. It's 100ml of 84/16 3mg 8.5% TFA Pralines And Cream, it has already been steeping for 5 whole weeks now... the recommended % for this particular flavoring is 10% (according to a highly popular % list for TFA flavorings), but nevertheless I'm glad I took 1.5% off because I use only RDAs and no tanks.
