Ceramic wicks

Has anybody tried the READYXWICK and is it a good product? Thanks

I understand it is quite popular but I have not tried it myself.

I tried it, but I was using 1/16 microcoils and it was a total pain to thread though. There's a big discussion on it in the Reo forum over at The Other Place - it has a lot of followers and is very well liked. I prefer rayon, though.

Rayon does give you more flavor but ready x wick lasts forever before you have to clean it.
3mm is the one I tried and from memory I was building 2.5 mm coils.

They are expensive, but it is much better than silica or ecowool and you can clean them a few times so you feel better about it
