Black particles after dry burning new SS coil

Hello,

Everytime when I dry burn NEW UD Ss coil there are small black particles around the coil and the atomizer. Is this normal?

That is burnt juice, absolutely normal.
The sweeter or higher flavor percentages you have, the more of that you'll see.

Not really, you're only suppose to pulse the coil, don't get it red hot. The black flecks are normal if the ss coil is gunked up dirty but not when it's new.

Totally missed that this was happening during dry burning NEW coils.

Dry burning to red is perfectly fine, you don't want to heat SS to bright orange to white hot. Pulsing to red is how you do it, just don't go beyond red.
