I need 6 or 8, trying to find the best deal.i also have like $30 in ebay bucks. But I guess I'll save that for something else and just buy from illumnIf there on ebay of course there a good chance there fakes. The price is not that great anyway so why take a chance.
Illumn has the same Sony VTC5A for $5.50 each.
I only buy from illumn, liion wholesale or IMR batteries. They legit vendors and there prices are reasonable.
Don't settle for possible shit batteries especially if you use mechs

I'm going to get some hohm life Batts for a parallel modAs far as batteries that don't have a big name wrap, I'd feel comfortable with Hohm Tech and Pegasus Vape Academy batteries. They aren't any better than the big names and I think they cost more. The advantage is that HT has two versions, one for mechs and one for regulated mods. PVA uses a wrap on their batteries that include information specific to vape usage.
I just buy what I need from liionwholesale.com, in my case the LG chocolates. My first set came from a vape shop and I feel lucky that they are authentic. Liion tests each batch.

Those nitecores aren't horrible but they seem rather expensive for what they are. They test out very similar to a samsung 25r or samsung 30q which sell for half the price at sites like imrbatteries. The issue with the nitecores is they're grossly overrated at 40a. Mooch rated the continuous discharge and max vaping amps the same as the two samsungs I mentioned. Maybe they're priced better elsewhere, imr has them for $11/ea where 25r's are $5/ea and 30q's are $6/ea. The 30q's have higher mah ratings and will run longer on top of being half the price.I know everyone says stick too the major brands and don't buy anything else but I'm loving these nitecore batteries!![]()

question is how do they compare to samsung 25r and Sony vtc5a?Synful- Hohm Tech has them manufactured by Indonesia Chemistry.
In regards to the Hohm Life batteries, Mooch said- "Bottom Line: In my opinion, though it is confusingly labeled, it is a great 20A continuous discharge rating (CDR) battery. It runs at higher voltages, and lasts a bit longer down to 3.2V, than the HE2 it's said to be based on. I have not tested the safety improvements that Hohm Tech says have been made to this battery compared to the HE2."
Personally I'd try the HT batteries if they were on a really good sale, but otherwise I'm happy with the LG's.
