I am looking to get an RDA but I don't know what to get. Not very experienced with RDA's. I am on a budget so a Goon or similar priced item is out of the question. I would prefer a 4 post design or at least 4 separate holes. What would you guys/gals recommend for a blonde noobie? Thanks in advance for replies!

What are you vaping on right now? I can't tell you what to get, but I'm pretty sure my next one is gonna be the Cigreen Gear rda.

I have all tanks right now. I do have the Limitless RDA but don't use it much. I have the baby beast tank and the Mini Blazer tank.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Geekvape Medusa. It's called an rta but in my mind it's an rda with a HUGE juice capacity. Shoot, 3ml juice well, with your velocity deck, and it looks cool. :)

The Medusa Reborn has all the improvements we wished for in the original, plus 3.5ml juice capacity. SirRichardRear reviewed the original and raved about how good the flavor is. Either one of them is on my short list of attys.

I can't speak to quality as of yet. I'm vaping currently an authentic goon and I love love LOVE it. I do have a clone on the way from 3Fvape and when it gets here I will be able to compare and contrast. Clones can be had from$15 and cheaper. So that always an option.

I just got the first Medusa. I put myself out of the loop so shame on me for not noticing the Reborn before ordering. In any case first impression very nice. Stuffed it with copious cotton with a couple of claptons. And slapped on a Merlin tip. Looks very nice. A bit unnerving that I can't see juice level. In any case great flavor and no spitback. Enjoying it so far

Awesome! It's definitely on my short list of attys to get.

I bought a clone version of the goon v1.5. I can't compare it to the real one, but it compares very well to my roommates original goon. It was $20 shipped from a fella in the US. The quality is very good, milling is accurate from everything I can see in pics and videos and it comes with the squonking pin if you want to try a squonker mod. I've dealt with the seller (my mistake, I thought it didn't come with the pin, but I was mistaken) and he was very respectful, honest, fast and courteous. I will have no problem buying from him again.

I'd kinda like to have a goon simply for the clamp system they use.

It's pretty sweet. Lot better than some of the rebuildables I tried from years back when we were using ss wick with vertical coils and wrapping leads around screws lol.

I bought one of these...

It's not coming out of the box though until the mod I bought to support it arrives. Will keep you posted though. I've noticed I have a similar vape style to Grimm Green and this paired with the mod he called his "Ideal Vape".

I like the looks of the TM2. I'd like to own one of them, but if I do, I'll try the clone first. Before I get that though, I gotta save up for an authentic Reload rta.

Update on previous post. Got the Medusa yesterday and now on my 5th tank. Of course with the wicking the capacity is closer to 2ml methinks so 5 tanks are not so much. In any case I'm smitten. I don't own a dripper but have vaped a friends' and this reminds me of that. Very flavorful IMO, more than the boatload of RTAs I've owned. I have no trouble determining when I'm almost out of juice as you can tell quite easily when vapor level drops. Only complaints are that it is very hard to see markings on tank to line up the locking symbols. But making them more obvious may detract from it's striking good looks. Also filling can get a bit messy as you have to fit the dropper along the edges as there is no dedicated filling port. And if you fill all the way, tilting the tank will cause it to overflow. Trying to get into the habit of removing the tank before refilling so I don't drip liquid on mod. Which I've done already. Btw that Merlin drip tip works great. Definitely prefer an extender atop of the stock tip.

If you are looking for something kinda Goonish on a budget, take a look at the Druga by Augvape

Big deck, super simple to coil, lots of airflow options and a beautiful piece at half the cost

Thanks for the recommendation. A larger deck is exactly what I am looking for most. I am not good at building so the extra room helps. Will check it out! Thanks again!

It's only a two post but it one of the easiest to coil out there - for single or double coil. Unique but easy design

I generally agree with the druga, it's good and cheap. The advken gorge is a great single coil rda. I'm pretty sure I still have a tm2, it was good, but I like the goon better. A buddy has the vandy icon, he like's it. Lot's of people like the apocalypse, clones everywhere now.

Before I started building, I figured the same thing. Buy something with a bigger deck and plenty of room for building, so that's what I did. Now I'm regretting that decision because more room = bigger coils to get the flavor and vapor out of it, especially on an rda.

I don't know if you've settled on anything yet, but there's another thing I wish I had done in the beginning. I wish I had bought an rda with either the 2 post velocity deck, or a postless deck instead of the straight line deck like the TM2. Of course if both your hands work well it won't be a problem to take a pair of needle nose pliers and bend the leads where they'll line up for a straight deck. I do think the velocity deck would be a lot easier for the beginner. Just my dos centavos. :)
