The wrap... is part of the circuit......it is just higher enough in resistance. Usually to be if minimal electrical affect..... this is part of the reason you don't wrap Kanthal cores with say Ni or Ti wires.... because then the wrap might become the conductor do to ohm rates

So you're saying electricity will divert power from something that's 0.1ohm to pass through something that's 1kohm? Who tells you this crap? I wrap A1 with SS alot. Lots of people use SS over n80. Hell Vander just made a build with a nifethal 70 wrap. You know I've never seen the wrap start glowing? Probably because if you were using a copper wrap the thing would still be in the thousands.
Electricity takes the path of least resistance...that's part of ohms law. That's why it's extremely rare for lightning to strike everything at the same time despite everything around it being an equally shitty conductor.
Here, the top one is SS, the bottom is A1.
Steamengine just runs numbers to get an answer and it runs the numbers on every part of the build. See the 0.001 difference? It's in the THOUSANDS place. Electricity takes the path of least resistance...so you really think ohms law breaks it's self just for vaping?
This is another great example of you going in a thread where a new builder is trying to learn something simple just to try to complicate it for them.
