Inawera has me confused

I had some Shisha Raspberry that went bad, I'm not imagining it, it was putrid. So, I just got another order today and I received INW Raspberry and Shisha Raspberry. Is the former the Malina or Wera? I've been looking and Inawera created quite a clusterfuck with their naming conventions.

I got it from Chef's Flavours in the UK and they rebottle it so I can't tell. I sent them a message. You'd think they'd put it on their site, at least. Also, is it safe to assume that the entire Shisha line is more concentrated? Or is it just different flavors? I also got Shisha Vanilla. I won't get to mixing til this weekend and I'm curious to know. And FW Graham Cracker so I'll be making GOC as well. I'd like to put some raspberry in it if it's as good as everyone says it is.

It's melina raspberry and no the Shisha aren't anymore concentrated than there standard concentrates they all vary to a degree. Just check out ELR atf and here to see what % ppl use.
On a note of concentration melina raspberry is very potent so start low 0.5 and work your way up. I don't care for it personally but I'm a minority it seems lol

Thank you for clearing that up. I appreciate it.

I just found an interesting review of the Shisha Raspberry.

Yes, verry potent. I've actually resorted to diluting to 25% to be able to play with it more delicately.

I like the melina and like said above very potent. I use it more around 0.25 to accent other raspberries and up to like 0.75 tops for anything else if its going to be the main flavor. for me its one of those ones that gives off that signature Inawera metal flavor that I taste in so many of them. it always seems to need a couple days steep for that un desirable taste to fade out but after that its pretty good

Inw raspberry will easy overpower a mix.

I tweaked the above recipe because all I could taste was inw raspberry.

I made that recipe as is and let it sit for 6 weeks and it was fantastic. I then made a second batch and added .5% cactus. After a month it was horrid. I thought it was because of the cactus but the INW Raspberry had gone bad. I had two 10ml bottles that were rancid. This also happened with a bottle of TFA Strawberry, so twice in 8 months. Both were rebranded from the UK.

I don't let things sit that long. Get another supplier.

I ran into the same problem making Grack Juice. I thought I had the wrong one. Turns out I had the right one all along (malina). It only calls for .5% but I like to be precise when copying a popular recipe.
