Using Melo 3 coils in the Baby Beast, flat out no. Smok uses proprietary heads for Smok brand tanks, you might find a 3rd party tank that uses Melo 3 coil heads, but that is about it.
Melo 3 paired to the AL85, no problem, as the AL85 uses the very common 510 threading connection, so will work with about 85 to 95% of the tanks out there. Being variable wattage it will accomidate just about most tank wattage ranges 85watts and under.
Be cautious, being a single battery mod, 85watts max is really skirting safety amp battery input limits
20amp CDR batteries you are looking at max 60watts <- Most common, higher Mah (runtime)
25amp CDR batteries you are looking at max 70 to 75watts <- Middle ground of plenty of runtime and plenty of CDR
30amp CDR batteries you are looking at max 85 to 90watts <- Only 3 on the market that will do 30amps, the LG HB2, HB4, and HB6 1500mah, sacrifice of runtime to achieve power output. Don't trust any battery that says they can do 35 or 40amps plus, it is a lie using the short 1/2 second Pulse Discharge Rating (PDR) of the battery as an advertisement, not the Continuous Discharge Rating (CDR) which the battery can sustain the entire discharge of the battery. Sony, Samsung, LG, and Panasonic/Sanyo are the big 4 source manufacturers out on the market for 18650 batteries, any other name is generally a re-wrap and either a B or C bin discard the Big 4 said didn't pass their A Bin standard Muster, or they are a clone.
Suggested Batteries by category
20amp - Samsung 30Q 3000mah (though rated 15amps by Samsung, independent testing shows them as true 20amp)
25amp - Sony VTC5A 2500mah (take note of the "A", as it is a newer version of the VTC5 2600mah 20amp and is very popular atm)
30amp - The LG HB Series Listed above.
