Hey guys! I was looking at getting the wismec gen 3, and I normally vape from 40-60W, is the 3 battery mod overkill for that I vape at?
If so what would you suggest?
Thanks!

If you don't mind carrying the weight of a 3 battery mod then it won't be overkill. The nice thing about it will be battery life while running at 40-60w.

Between the wattage I would go for tarot nano. 80w capacity at 3500mha internal battery
These aren't even all the colors they have.

How does that rdta compare to a limitless plus ?My biggest tsnk: combo 2 rdta and fuchai duo-3 2 battery setup at 80w, it lasts me all day![]()

If you are looking for..... Brag ability or even the occasional ability to vape at high wattage the 3 battery mod is awesome. But make sure you run down the positives and the negatives (more batteries means a bigger charger needed, have to buy more batteries, heavier to carry, etc) to figure out if it will be worth it. I got a Smok Alien 220 when I never vape above 80watts and I loved it. Heavier, but awesome. Unfortunately it broke recently, and the AL85 isn't cutting it. I had an alien for 8 months. It was a great mod, but I traded it off to get a different mod because O LOOK SHINY.... nothing was wrong with my alien though. I like it actually. 2nd rdta first was the rdta 5 and I didn't like it. Leak at the glass area and fill port.. Wasn't liking it. This I have built: 5 wrap fused clapton 26x32, 3.0 mm gap and I have it around. 24ohms. Vape it at between 80-100 watts depending on juice. Airflow is smoothe, I cover 15% of it for more flavor and clouds is just a bonus lol, with the clamp deck it has its easy to use. I'm more of a post less kind of person so planning on buying one later on. 6.5ml and depending on your build it could last you 1/2 a day or full day (ish). I picked rainbow because that's the only I'm going to grab (ocd, organized, shindig stuff lol)How does that rdta compare to a limitless plus ?

I got a sleeve for my 220, but the whole rig just... Died. For no reason. Stopped charging, no screen, no fire, nothing. Didn't do a damn thing, just went to use it and it wouldn't work. I wish it still worked. I only had the thing 3 damn months too. I loved it, black with the white splatter paint.I had an alien for 8 months. Or....you can be like me and get an asmodous minikin. Super small, reliable, it has great battery life, and comes in every color under the rainbow!

Is it me....or does it have better battery life than most 2 batts? It seems very efficient. I vape mine at 80w, and have had the same batteries in since last Friday. I have it on my dropper and use it nightly. Battery level is like 80%Love mine- I have 2 of the rainbow- super long battery life I vape between 30w- 45w and the Minikin lasts 8-10 hours, well built and very small, fits easily in my hand! Love the touch screen too! I have many mods and the Minikins are my favorites!
Never charged internally. I had heard about that. And I didn't chain vape with it, so it never got too hot. Used my mech mod for chaining. The charger I use I bought with the mod, an Intellicharger New12. I was super careful with the dang thing too.Did you charge internally all the time?

Are you just not wanting to worry about having your mod run out of battery life?
Here is my poor little guy......Couple of things I've seen ...sleeves trap heat, and charging internally causes heat on the board... both lead to premature death

Alien can be locked by hitting front 2 buttons at same time. On and off is more of a pain... 3 clicks then to power then to offBattery life is a huge plus, but I just read that new the gen 3 is deemed a "no go" due to a grounding issue with the 510. I guess my biggest want in a mod is one that I can easily turn off and on. I liked the alien in the store, but the whole locking it and having to go through a lot of steps just to turn it off seems like a pain. However, that could just be what I am use to from the Vapor flask stout.

Yeah the lock can be done by hitting the + and - buttons at the same time. Easy peasy to lock.Battery life is a huge plus, but I just read that new the gen 3 is deemed a "no go" due to a grounding issue with the 510. If that is a concern, just go for the dual battery. I used it at low wattage and the batteries last all day long. Go for a better one then the Smok tho.Thats where I began wondering if it was overkill for me. I mean if I'm at the 40-60 W range, I'm not really using the mod for what it was made for I feel like. Thus waiting money when I could just get a dual battery mod and be just as happy.
Was going to grt it for the omniboard 2.0 but I havnt heard any difference of itI have a vaporesso revenger. I only have two issues with it.
1.) Battery door is tough to open due to strong magnets.
2.) Fingerprint magnet (I accept because it's pretty)

I never used an omniboard, so I don't have any experience. It's a great board from what I can tell. Was going to grt it for the omniboard 2.0 but I havnt heard any difference of it
How is this in terms of price? Worth it or not?I have a vaporesso revenger. I only have two issues with it.

Got mine locally for 90 with the tank. I didn't like the tank all that much. Very comparable to a big baby beast though. Mod online is like 55?How is this in terms of price? Worth it or not?

The V2 has a battery saver chip-Is it me....or does it have better battery life than most 2 batts? It seems very efficient. I vape mine at 80w, and have had the same batteries in since last Friday. I have it on my dropper and use it nightly. Battery level is like 80%

I'm sure if I used it all day it would go down too. I just have it on an rda that I do about 60 puffs a day on. Regardless, I've had other 2 Batt mods that I did the same thing with and they didn't have as good of battery life! The V2 has a battery saver chip-
The Minikin 2 is powered by a GX-180-HT/UT chip which incorporates the same battery power saving capabilities as its predecessors
I have 2 of the Minikin V1.5 and those have long battery life too- I must vape more during the day because I will start using the V2 around 6 am and by 8 pm I am changing out the batteries. I have heard others comment that the V2 have the longer battery life, I must be a heavier vaper!
The only other dual battery mods I have are the Asvape Michael 200w stabwood and the Yosta Livepor 160w and both these mods have pretty much all day long battery life too! I have been vaping the Michael today since 6am and have only used 1/2 of the battery life.
Back ups are important when trying to keep away from cigarettes! Plus the hunt for the best and collecting take over. Now I know why people collect so many mods.

I have many tanks ,coils, wire, cotton and eliquid too!
No way are cigarettes my backup plan!
I have had a few. Took a bit to find ones I really like too.
Current:
Asmodous minikin v2
Sigelei 213
Vaporesso revenger
Voopoo drag
Old:
Rx2/3 got rid of because of 510 issues. Mine was fine, but I got rid of it before it had issues.
Smok evod - pen...gotta start somewhere
Smok osub40 - was good, but built in battery started to lose life
Smok alien - got rid of to buy the revenger.
Pioneer4u ipvd3 - 80w singles battery had poor vattery life
Smok v8 stick - didn't use it often enough to keep it

The voopoo is big...probably not ideal for small hands. The touch screen is something that doesn't get used much. Once you get the mod set....who touches the settings constantly? Initially while figuring it out was a pain.. but once I get it set for the given atty it's on....then I don't touch it. The touch screen works well in the aspect that the fire button is a quick exit. It makes it easy to navigate.I've been considering the voopoo drag, but I have such small hands that I wonder if it will fit comfortably.
I've been doing more looking into the minikin v2, lots of people are loving it. Only complaint I've seen is that the touch screen gets annoying having constantly unlock it.
No- once you set your wattage no need for the swipe screen! It shuts off automatically! That is only if you set the lock- but it has 5 clicks off /on too, I don't set the lock! The V2 is a beautiful mod for small hands- having them myself- I love this mod, my favorites! I also like the V1.5 too a little wider but comfortable to hold!I've been considering the voopoo drag, but I have such small hands that I wonder if it will fit comfortably.

Agreed!
What atty are you currently using? The minikin can handle 25mm attys without any overhang. It will fit most attys without an issue unless you use 30sI think I'm swaying towards the Minikin v2, what attys do you pair them with out of curiosity?
