Your other post is in an Arctic Fox thread, so I'll presume it's not the factory software that's the problem.

I don't have any of the newest JoyeTech mods among my many JTs, but I know there's a version of AF specifically for them and the older version for the rest of us... they are NOT interchangeable.

Something to look into perhaps?

Sorry but that's wrong, and was also cleared up later by the person stating it. Nightlies are a standard software-development term for unstable snapshots of the development tree, and they included updated code for everything, new and old, though AF no longer has them either and just one stable release now. I'm pretty sure the AF firmware flasher won't let you flash to an unsupported unit either. As said try if you can flash back, and the AF flasher works too for OEM firmware btw.

Anyway, sorry I cannot be of help otherwise to the OP...

My bad (I haven't looked at the site or the software in weeks). I should have a look soon, see what's what. ;)

But...
Who stated what... then cleared it up? I'm completely lost there.

And... are you saying there ARE still two stable .bins or not (never mind the nightlies)? Or a consolidated installer?
But if the installer won't flash unsupported hardware anyway... then my suggestion was entirely wrong. Oops.
eta: -good tip about AF being able to flash the JT firmware (that's good of them).

Anyway mhertz, thanks for the correction, and sorry hin, I got nothing either until you come back with more details and an update..

Lol, sorry for the confusion :) I was just referring to an AF thread here, where it first was speculated that there where one version for older mods and another for newer ones, which weren't interchangeable, but that was a misunderstanding - anyway not really important, and I just thought you where referencing to that with your comment :)

Nowadays, the AF devs have dropped having both stable and nightlies, and now only have one version(stable) which is downloaded from there forum(though also older versions available too, if having issues with the newest). It's not an installer, and still a bin file, which should be used together with NFEtools, also downloadable from there forum, which includes a firmware flasher also.

Sorry, i'm not 100% certain, but I know the flasher checks which mod it is first, because it needs to change some of the configurations at times which works differently for the different mods. Also, one time I saw they added recognition support for some new mod and someone rejoiced on there forum, but then they stated it could still not be flashed, but was only preliminary recognition support added, hence why i'm pretty certain it wouldn't flash unsupported devices.

Anyway, trying to help someone is never wrong in my book no matter what :)

Mine's been acting all wonky since I updated too, but haven't taken the time to roll it back.
