Just got my asmodus minikin 2 today (in purple).. put a Sherman RDA on it, 2 batteries, and
went right into TC with 470f and 60W...
Had no trouble with the touch screen, and so far, the resistance is accurate and doesnt
jump around, which is a problem that has been seen on this mod...

I love the shape and hand feel of this.. It's like the RX3 but 1/4'' taller, and not as deep
since it's a 2 cell mod..

I am going to keep my eye on the resistance reading, because Youtube is loaded with
complaints of the ohms flying up and down like crazy.. but mostly, after they have done
a firmware upgrade... So, even if TC turns out to be shit (like the RX3) I will still love to
use this in VW.....

So far, so good...

I have two(pink and purple) and I looooooove them. No problems at all.

I love the way it feels in my had, and I am using the TCR value that Daniel recommended for this devise; 0.00108 for SS316.
I have tweaked the temp and watts around a bit because I am using a larger then normal RDA..
Wanted so bad to take it to work with me this morning.. miss not having it in my hand... LOL

Did you see J. Haze's rant on this?
I suspect he fucked up when loading the firmware...
He had earlier given the standard edition Minikin 2 a very good review...
I take his diatribes with a very large grain of salt... but he can be entertaining (or annoying.. LOL)..
Here is a link to his little rant....
He fucks up his MOD, then proclaims Asmodus is shit and throws them under the bus... LOL :

J Haze rant.. ADULTS ONLY.. very vulgar...

Let me just say- I love Asmodus!
2) V2 Prism- 2) V1.5 and the Silvausa(stabwood)
The Minikin V2 in the Grit or Rotten colorway is next on my list - along with the V2 Kodama!

A Reborn should be here tomorrow. Just curious how well built they are. Sounds like a good purchase from all of your comments though.

Well, not a V2, but my Reborn arrived today.
Took less than one minute to set it up without opening a manual.
Hits perfectly in TCR mode with SS430. Read resistance accurately, no changes noticed.
This is a black version and is all rubberized, great feel. The battery door is SO solid. I like how it is not symmetric and has two huge batteries on the wider side. This one isn't going to rattle. The touch screen is a great idea, hope it holds up to use. No reason to think otherwise though, my phone is touchscreen and takes abuse my mods never will.
Off travelling for the weekend, but wanted to say how nice the Asmodus mods are. Sorry for stealing the V2 thread to do it.

I have a brown Minikin with a Modfather atty on top....love the mod and atty.

Battery life if excellent, even at 80+ watts.

About to leave town on Sunday for a month long business trip, and my Battlestar seems to be dying.... misfiring badly since last night.

Was thinking of trying to pick up a Minikin Boost locally, if not too exorbitant. Anyone have that version, non-touch screen?

Unless any suggestions on the Battlestar? I cleaned the 510 with alcohol, no difference. It feels like the pin may be pushed in too far, and stuck in that position.

Looking for solid performance in power mode, decent form factor, and reliability.

Bad week for mods at my house. My Innokin TC100 briefly went glitchy but snapped out of it. The screen went about half dark and would not fire that way on 2 occasions, same day. Has not reoccurred but makes you think its not long for this world.

Well, after running through cranberry bogs, going here and there, my Reborn is kind of a favorite!
Great battery life, though it seems to have a 3.3V cutoff. At least that is what my charger reported when the battery indicators were both blank. Still hit though. Maybe that is the 3000mAh batteries vs what they calibrate to. At any rate, this put a lot more juice through for the set of batteries than other mods I own.
So easy to change any setting with the touchscreen. I hope it is long lived .
The rubberized finish is great. At least until you get juice or anything else on it. It does wipe off easy though.
A tiny bit deep for me, but definitely livable. But that is in comparison to the Aspire Speeder, Tesla Wye, and the Rader Boxer.
Dead accurate in the resistance reading, and excellent in TCR mode for SS430.
Couldn't ask for more. Well... I can always ask for more, but you get the idea.

So, V2, Reborn, do they all use the same chipset? My meaning is, since I love the way the Reborn vapes and the ease of changing settings, would I be getting the same in a different form factor?
Because I would like to get a V2, but only if it does TC(TCR) as well as the Reborn.
Purple, gotta have purple I tell ya!

I'm pretty sure they are the same except form factor and touch screen function in the v2

The Reborn has a touch screen that looks identical to the V2s.
I think I'd like the form factor of the V2 better. I've just seen so many complain about resistance, but it seems the mod just shows 'live' resistance and that is what is throwing people off.

I must have been confused about the touch screen. I think I am thinking of the regular boost?
