Ok i made my first diy order and i did it in a rush and I didn't really think it though but that's another story . I want to start planning my next order right now, even know i still haven't got this order lol. so what size bottles of flavoring does everyone buy, do flavors last long time do i want big bottles or small bottles. all the stuff i looked at i never really gave any thought to how much of one flavor i should order, like im sure there some flavoring that so strong you only want a very little so yeah for sure you would buy a small bottle , but what all the main stuff what sizes should i buy, i will be buy flavors to make recipes ii find online, so pretend i been making the same few recipes for a year, what size bottles of flavors would i be ordering.

I usually buy 15ML bottles because that is the smallest size Liquid Barn offers. Reason being I want to know if I like it before I buy 60MLs of a flavor. I have a few 10MLs bottles from other suppliers because of the same line of thought, needing to try it before I buy it.

Just starting out go with 10 ml bottles of flavors. If you end up not liking it, pouring out 10 at $2-$3 hurts a lot less than a 120 @ $12-$15.

The best way to save some bucks and have success at start is choose two or three recipes from here or other places that sound good to you and just buy the flavors to make those recipes. You can see how things go together and you have something good to vape right away.

Even though I have been doing DIY for a while I sill would never buy a large quantity of something I never tried. Taste is subjective and even though a thousand people I know might like it, doesn't mean I will.

If I'm ordering a flavor that's new to me, I check to see if Wizard Labs offers it, because they offer 8ml vials; but if not, I'll buy a 10ml. If I know it's something I like, but I don't use too often, usually 30ml. For one of my regular flavors in my ADV strawberry & cream, never less than 4oz; if I could get enough $$$ together, I'd buy 16oz of INW Shisha Strawberry, I use so much of it in the juice I vape all the time.

if Ive never tried it I buy the smallest size available and buy accordingly after that. no sense in buying larger sizes before you know what it taste like. I change flavors so often that I'm pretty sure whatever my favorite is today wont be in a couple months down the road.

I get "new" flavors in the 30ml size now, usually. I was doing the 10ml trial size, but it seemed like I really liked all of them, and then had to buy bigger bottles anyway. A $5 bottle isn't that much more of a waste than a $2 bottle, I guess, if I ever find one I absolutely can't stand. (Like FA pineapple, ugh, but luckily that was back when I was getting 10ml bottles.) Once I know I like a flavor, I always order it in the 120ml size afterward. The price per mil is cheaper, and I know I'll use it. :)

Basically, I buy No More than I can use up in 6 months. New flavors, I buy the smallest size available, unless I'm damned sure it's something I'll use often (FA Juicy Strawberry, bypassed the 10 ml, straight to 30 because I know I'll be testing this extensively). I also stick with small bottles of flavors I use often but in very small amounts, like TFA Brown Sugar Extra and Coconut Extra. Even though I've got 10 recipes in rotation using Coconut Extra, my average percentage in recipes is less than 1%, so a 10 ml will last me months. I don't like the idea of larger quantities sitting around getting old, even if it costs a bit more.

Frequently used accent flavors, like TFA/FA Marshmallow, I go for the 30 mls. I could order more, but same as above, don't want large quantities sitting around. I had a 2 oz bottle of TFA Marshmallow I bought when I started out that sat for over a year.

Mid range (higher percentage) flavors, like FW Hazelnut, Butterscotch Natural, CAP Sweet Cream, I buy 2 oz bottles.

Main flavors, like CAP VC1, TFA Ripe Strawberry, CAP and TFA VBIC's, I go with 4 oz bottles.
