The working with IVOGO part scares me a little ... but thanks for this post :)

Oops didn't see this thread. I posted this in another.
This is the latest mock up, I think, except logos are embossed and buttons will be stainless. Also the battery panel will not go all the way to the top.

I think its a great idea. He took suggestions from viewers and then votes on the decisions. He's trying to get the price down as much as possible but at $140 I might still build my own. I really wish he would just sell a kit. I think he said he's getting the DNA40s at $40 a piece in bulk so a kit could have been like $80 or so.

April is worst-case. Peg says he's shooting for February but listed April just in case issues come up. Regardless, it's still a wait. Wish I had the skills to build my own, but the chances of me building something that works is about the same as winning the lottery and getting hit by lightning on the same day.

Good luck with your mod!

I was all for it when he said we'd have it by x mas I saved my money and waited and waited until I broke and bought a chip to put into my cana mini. It's almost done just waiting on the tap for the fat daddy's 510. I had to special order it :(

That is a great looking mod, and I'd like to order one, but, What happens if the 28k isn't met? Does the project still go on? Money refunded? Anyone know? He talks about "risks & challenges", but skips talking about the "risk" part of it, and only talks about the "challenges"

If the funding target is not hit, all money is refunded. Peg posted the following:

Awesome start everyone!! We're already 1/3 of the way there. Please all note that we chose the Fixed Campaign and not the Flex. Meaning if we do not reach the goal, everyone is getting every cent back.

What this means is that when you make a purchase towards any of the perks, a device or a donation. You are not only helping to secure yourself a device, but you also help a fellow vaper secure their device as well.

We pull this off I will not let you guys down, thank you all and God Bless.

Good deal, I think I'll take the plunge. He needs to post those words in the "risks & challenges" section so people can see it right off the bat.

I'm one of those who contributed to the PVA-40 design and invested in one and that's what made the difference for me. I did my homework before I invested and have the money to risk. I think about the smokers out there who spend hundreds a month and get nothing but bad health and I'm proud to be part of putting something out there that will enable them to live better, healthier, lives! Healthy discourse is good if it is done in good faith. Let's move on and support those who are working to get people more healthy by giving them a good alternative.

I went for it as well. The temp control is a game changer. It'll be interesting to see how temps change the taste with organic juices as well as synthetics. What a safe temp is and/or the dangers if any of too low or too high a temp will be. It will certainly open up business opportunities....

I can see juice vendors in the near future listing recommended temps to bring out the best of their flavors. I've already noticed a huge difference in some of my DIY juices at different temps.
