Cheetah 2 by OBS spitting and popping

I just purchased the Cheetah 2 by OBS, using the prebuilt coils and cotton it came with, vaping with the Alien 220 by Smok. Everything seems to be working correctly except the excessive spitting and popping. I've tried reducing both wattage and airflow but still being mocked by the Kings Juice by Vapor In A Bottle which smells like Hawaii but so far tastes like magma... Any suggestions?

Hi and welcome-
I do not own this RDA but there are many You Tube videos on it, since Jai is a member here I am using his review. Hope this helps- at about 9:20 into the video he shows a small problem in the deck, but he shows how to fix that.Could be the cause of your popping.

Well from the video i noticed he used alot more cotton then i did so i tried that and less popping but still some in there. Eh.

Did you see that one of the posts was loose? He had to tighten it from the bottom- said it was causing spitting for him. Also did you preheat and strum the coils? Sometimes a hot spot. Also make sure everything tightened down properly.
He may also not be using the same cotton that came with it?
What wattage are you using?
Try watching other you tube videos- sometimes watching can help better than explaining. There are many videos on this tank.

Mike Vapes video-

Honestly i dont know what wattage to use as all the vids use different boxes. For my RTA (baby beast 8t) i roast at 72 watts but scale down as the day goes. I got the rda so i could have fun at home. The coils are running .238 ohms , 3amps, .762 volts, with the cheetah on it. PCB seems to ramps up to the 40's quickly. Oh and this thing ooozes juice when it gets hot. Currently im running it at like 1/8th airflow, 72 watts, and still getting some pop but not as much. Oh and yea.. i tightened tgat screw before i saw tge vid cause the post kept mpvong when i was trying to install the coils.

Not sure what the stock coils are with that dripper. So hard to tell ya exactly what's a good watt to run it at. The reason for popping is uneven heating of the coil though. Higher watts will just make it more evident. Take out the wick reseat the coil or replace with new non fubar coil.
