So I built my first set of coils the are reading .584 ohms on my mod and the volts when pulsing it at 50 watts to test it and my volts are 5-6 volts on 3.7 volts batteries (I think I wrappd too many times) on the Coil master jig thing the 40. Second I used the 30, 8 wraps and got .368 ohms I still feel like it' gonna really drain my battery but I got both coils heating nicely

Alright I think I figured it out. So let' say I wanna vape at 95w and stay in the 3.7 volts range. I'd need a .15ohm coil or coils. So at 1.3mm diameter roughly I'd only need 5 wraps to achieve this. Using nic80 or kanthal at 26 gage

Nope

First off you should really be shooting for between 2 - 3mm di, 1.5mm di is tiny
2nd ni80 and Kanthal have very different resistence, so insure you have the right selected
Then after that make sure you select correctly single, duel, etc coil drop down.

You'll get it ;)

I actually use the vape toolbox more than anything it's a pretty decent app if your just starting out. On the other hand as mentioned the steam engine is allot better. But, it's also alot more complicated.

Yeah it is a little confusing but I'll still try to mess around with it. I redid my coils, I still used too big on the jig. But 5 wraps and it' at .3 ohms (there' some other numbers that I can' remember)
