"bought various parts online"
Who in Florida wants to buy a battery online from R-L Sales in Utah  Maybe he was from Utah, but still..
And what are these various parts?
I suspect the online company didn't have an ecig disclaimer like we see at reputable battery suppliers and that's why they were held liable.
"R-L Sales had a duty to adequately test the batteries in vaporizers to ensure they did not present a danger." What a ridiculous statement.

Still, I'd like to know what these various parts are, and how much the user contributed with his own negligence, which I suspect is some, probably most. Too bad it happened to him, but ignorance of battery safety is no excuse.
To be fair, I order from an online store in California and I live in Florida. I just really like the store - they have great deals. Maybe he just really liked that particular online store.

I felt like I was fair before I posted that ;) because I had searched around for anything vape related or not vape related that could have sold batteries/Efest batteries via R-L Sales in Utah. And nothing was found. So I thought maybe it was a small business that couldn't handle the 2mil judgment so they took their site down. Which still may be the case.
Since I've been called out :), I've done more looking around and found customs bill of laden for R-L Sales in Utah for li-on batteries, and they had been making orders through Shenzhen Fest Technology Co., Ltd who is a supplier for Efest. When I found the address for R-L Sales and Google street viewed them
I got this.

Most here have ordered from places around the globe, and some may have a single favorite, but if this is a favorite online battery/anything store, teeth may become missing.

Google maps isn't perfect, but when you can look up an address and verify it by street name, and address numbers that can be seen within the view and not superimposed as a bubble..... I'd say R-L Sales is ran from/shipped from someone's home.

As are quite a few vape vendors I suspect.

I expect that many might be surprised where juice they buy is made.

When I look up my address on Google it shows a church 3 blocks away from me .
Only once has it showed my house.

Google maps will hardly ever have the pin wrong, unless your in a developing area and they have not remapped. If your using it for navigation it's a good idea to view the route it gives you, but even then it's not wrong that often in this 5mil + populated/100's of square miles city I'm at. If/when it is wrong, it's usually less than a block, and more like a house or building away. If it's wrong within this short stretch of road , it doesn't really matter to me. Same thing only different.
