Maybe if all these little buttheads would learn to live in the REAL world, and communicate face-to-face instead of thinking Facebook is the only reality, we wouldn't have this problem.
I despise facebook, with an extreme passion.

Off topic, but I went and saw my naturopath here in Anchorage

She helped me cure my dry eye problem overnight - omega 7 fatty acid - one capsule taken orally from Sea Buckthorn, woke up and my eyes were almost on the verge of weepie they were so not dry anymore - nothing short of a miracle

She also talked me into taking fermented cod liver oil with butter oil, even though I normally will not do dairy of any kind

Farcebook is the problem when they bully each other, and are too stupid to block the bullies. The biggest problem is the cellphone addiction.

They speak english, all were taught in high school.
I know only enough Spanish to get my face slapped. Spanish, German, and French were taught in my high school, but none of them were mandatory. I got all A's in French, but only because I did all my homework in calligraphy. Like Spanish, all I can get out of French and German is a slap.

I still turn heads when I mention some chingallero. More than half the town is Spanish, and I'm as white as they come.

It works amazing

I've been treating it with human bacteria, and it has been working but I forgot to bring it and I got something ucky on my face at the hospital and my eyes got so dry felt like sand paper

Used to be that way back in the day.
Not as much now as it used to be.

Some country kids may not get into video games and phones as much as their more metropolitan counterparts, but there's plenty of other kinds of trouble to be found in the country. I was surprised to learn some years ago just how many crack and m*th houses there are out in the middle of nowhere. Frankly, I'd take the phones and video games any time over drug abuse, violence, crazy (read, dangerous) driving, and just general hell-raising.

Some of the parents aren't any better. My best friend is a marriage and family therapist. The things she has heard, omg, you wouldn't believe some of it. She had one case where the kid was suddenly on his own at 15 or 16 because the mom and her boyfriend had blown the house up when their m*th lab exploded. His 14-year-old sister was killed in the explosion, and of course mom and boyfriend went to prison. Just imagine what it's like to be in that young man's head. He is screwed for life, unless he's mighty strong and special. The odds aren't with him.

Hi Old Pharts. Long time, no see. Hope you're all doing well. Jimi, hope you're hanging in with that knee, being good to yourself.

Also hope Mr. Juicy is recovering well and not driving Mrs. Juicy out of her mind. Some of you fellas make terrible patients.

Vaporesso ccell coils for Atlantis (0.9 ohm) are probably the best premade coils I've ever used. I'm hooked. Great flavor, perfect th, with great, rich, billowy, perfectly warm clouds, at 26W. Jmo.

Bye y'all. Be good if you can.

Went and bought a PHD today.
Then used it for manual labor and my shoulders are sore.
Damn Slate rock.
The Iron digger did not help my shoulders much either.

Whatever possessed you to do such a thing?

finishing up a project so I can mow the little back yard where the weiner dog from hell roams.
I put in a wheelchair ramp for the Wife Unit last fall.
It took up the sidewalk out of the back yard to the main front sidewalk in front of the house.
I put a gate up on it but it prevented me from getting a lawn mower in the enclosed dog area...
So Now I am setting a couple posts and putting in a gate beside the ramp.

Enterprising of you to do all that. You finished it today? Or it is a work in progress?

I really dread yard-work season for my husband. Neither of us is in any kind of shape to be doing it, especially once it gets really hot and muggy.

Guess that's essentially what you are getting ready for - yard mowing. Oh wretched hell. I have despised yard work my whole life.

All the rain we've had lately, though, we may soon have a pond surrounding our house, if it doesn't let up.

Already mowed once. Need to mow again tomorrow.
Looks like we will have 4-5 days of nice dry weather with no rain or snow.

Need to get off my butt and buy a new riding mower.
Self propelled is nice but riding my old butt around is better.

Our grass would never get mowed if there was no riding mower. We have about 2.5 acres that is cut, so pushing it might be in the cards for someone 25 years old, but not for either of us.

Once the rain does stop and the sun comes out, that grass is gonna start growing like weeds, which is really what it is. We aren't "'manicured lawn" people.

Hubbs found a five-leafed clover one day last week out in the back yard. I planted that clover nearly 20 years ago - there was none when we got here. Apparently it has decided to stay. :hearts: Love clover.

I only have about 1/4 acre of lawn that I keep mowd nicely.
I do have another 1+ acre of grass/weeds that I mow monthly during the summer to keep it from growing up into briars and brush.
Around my garden area and such.
the rest of my property here at the house is in trees and such.

If you let the briars grow, would you have blackberries?

Yes but one must be able to get to them for them to be any benefit.
Plus I do not like blackberries.
Black Raspberries now are scrumptious.

The reason I ask is that we used to have them along the back part of the driveway here. I picked a bunch of them and made blackberry pudding for hubbs, several different times. Since then, I think I've just been too slow and the deer and bears have eaten most of them. I notice the briars have thinned out, too. Not sure why that is.

I don't eat berries at all, but my husband loves blackberries and blueberries.
