I thought that quote referred to angels. Gods/goddesses typically had egos so huge they could barely fit on a planet.

imho excessive egos are just covering for insecurities that exist within ones mind.
The larger the insecurity the larger the compensating ego may be.

We reached 105° today. Got done what I could before 11 am, and after 7 pm. My mother's bed should be finished within 2 - 3 days. Just gotta clear coat it now.

Buddy of mine from San Diego drove here today, shrink-wrapped the truck and mower crate. Used that thick white material with heat welded joints for winterizing boats....shit is damn tuff. Now I can pack shit in the truck bed and on top the mower. I bought three queen size mattresses to stuff between the truck sides and front, in case it moves. I doubt it will move tho...bought eight 6-ton nylon ratchet straps to hold it down, mower too.
