20mg nic salt and sub ohm

I have some 20mg nic salt Amethyst by wet and I decided to try the .6 ohm coil that came with the breeze 2. I've been vaping it all day just the same as I did with the 1ohm coil and haven't been nic sick. Maybe I just have a high tolerance, but everyone told me not to and it seems fine. Anyone else sub ohm high nicotine?

Been wondering this myself thanks both :D

Do you use different VG/PG ratio and flavour percentage as well for the pods/pens?

Well usually I like 70+ VG but this Amethyst is 50/50 and it's pretty good. PG tends to make my lungs hurt and hard to breathe. Not sure what the flavour percentage is, I only ever buy premade.

Good to know thanks ...I have same concerns trying 50/50 as I vape same VG as you ..but on a pod like the breeze I guess it’s not so noticeable?

Not really. Pods are completely different than sub ohm coils and box mods. The restricted air flow makes it much smoother and more enjoyable with high nicotine and PG, if you don't have a pod system I'd suggest trying one. This 30ml bottle has lasted me almost a month and there's probably a good 10ml+ left.

I've never tried nic salts so can anyone explain more about them? Would appreciate it. :)

I have a high nicotine base that I use to increase the nic level of my 65-80% vg blends and use that in the breeze 2.

Nicotine salt is what's found in the tobacco leaf itself, whereas freebase is man-made. Nicotine salt is much smoother which allows you to vape higher levels of nicotine. It also delivers nicotine slower than freebase which is why if you vaped 20mg freebase like you would 3mg you'd probably get nic sick.

Oh OK. That would explain the nicotine headaches. :teehee:

Thanks for explaining this. Might have to give salts a try in the future.
