Not that I want to sound like an old broken record, but when you have had chronic pain as long as I have, you get used to it. The big problem is that I do way too much acrobatics in bed in order to compensate, so I cannot be a good sleeping partner. Sigh...
Both mommies and both baby girls are fine (Morgain la Fey had Guenhwyvar two weeks ago and Cricket had Evelyn five(?) days ago - Cricket is the one who got milk fever, but she's fine now).
Nawwww... sometime after they reach six months, they either get traded to the hay man or sold at auction.You'll prolly be building a barn addition soon......
Do you sell the calves when weaned, or are you trying to build a herd?
We got our first cow.... ummm... 12 years ago? 13? Anyway, it was a year plus after we moved in here. Did research and shopped around and got a pregnant heifer (Bandit), and kept her first baby (Cricket). Helen is also one of Bandit's babies, and Morgain is one of Cricket's. We have a steer (Little John) who lives on the horse side of the pasture, but he is destined for the freezer this year. The cow pasture is not big enough to support more than three full-time cows. Horses we have had since Christ was a corporeal, but when these two pasture bums depart, that is the end of it.
Didn't know you had horses too....man, it's no wonder your soar now and again.....lots of shoveling in the winter or spring (I assume).
I remember you talking about shoveling the shit in the spring, had know idea how much....now I have a pretty good idea. Sounds like you need a tractor with a front end loader attached.
The Bobcat is the tractor with front-end loader. It moves snow in the winter and shit in the summer (when I can get it started). I cannot use it inside the barns however (space limitations), so that shit gets removed by shovel and wheelbarrow.
Need to do some remodeling, to get that Bobcat in there, you'll live longer.
In order to have stalls inside a building that was meant to be a two-car garage, there is no space left for tractors. (one for horses, one for cows/hay)
Anyway, need to put my old ass to bed now. Catch ya on the flip side.

Hi Jimi! Hi all you old pharts! I'm only here for a minute. Have to interview tomorrow for a non nurse job. Yep, you heard it. I'm quitting nursing. I have had it. I told my adult son today if I can no longer care for myself let me die. It doesn't matter where you work. Healthcare is a corrupt and a dangerous job. I have to much passion to continue. No one can win against a corporation seeking only profit. The losers are the patients (sadly) Okay, I've said enough. You all have a great night!.

Speaking of bed....after going to bed last night, laying there for a few hrs...I got back up and screwed around till 4:00 this morning. COULD NOT SLEEP. Went to a job at about 8:30 this morning feeling like shit.
I don't even trust the USDA organic to be true organic. and you probably know this but all organics (according to USDA/FDA) can be sprayed with GMO solution "after they are harvested" to extend the shelf life and still bare the USDA Organic label.

Was sitting outside the local country store yesterday with the local Liars club and a couple of mid 20's guys pulled up and got a snack and sat down snacking and smoking.
One saw my vape and told me I was inhaling battery acid....
They were driving a lawn care truck. Perhaps he had inhaled too much insecticide?
Naah just ignorant and misled.
Like most of the rest of the hangouts I suppose that keep going on that they are not prejudiced but blacks need to know their place....
Humans by and large are stupid creatures.
Might have to stop hanging out there. Or anywhere around here where humans hang out?
