Gargling and spitting

Hello VU.

I am currently vaping Clockwork orange in an Aspire BDC tank with an Ego-T 1100mah battery.

I recently bought a new juice and replaced the coil.

However, as I've started using it again it's been gargling and spitting a lot.

I asked the guy in the shop and he said the coil may just be settling in or something like that so I carried on using it as normal. However, it's still doing it rather a lot almost every toke ends in a spit and they all gargle.

Anyone know why?

Make sure the coil is screwed on all the way. I had that happen to one of my tanks. I changed the coil. then after refilling the liquid it started to gargle and spit.. i unscrewed the bottom off of the tank to check the coil and sure enough it somehow unscrewed itself a bit. after I screwed it back in it was fine.

"I asked the guy in the shop and he said the coil may just be settling in or something like that". First of all, what the guy in the shop told you is pure BS. Coil heads do not need to settle in. Is the Ego batt a twist or standard 3.7V fixed voltage? Normally with and Aspire BDC tank, you need more power to the coil head because it has 2 coils in it, needs more power. I have a BDC tank that I use occasionally and I use it at 4.5 to 5 volts.

The battery is fixed voltage yeah. A different guy (same shop) fitted the coil for me so I assume it's in correctly.

I tried a 3.7v Kanger Ego battery with mine, yep it was gurgling and flooding. That battery does not have enough power to vaporize the eliquid in the Aspire BDC Tank, those coils take more power than the 3.7v battery can supply. I'm now using the Aspire BDC on an iStick at 5.0V and it vapes great.

I'm concerned the shop sold you a setup that was mis-matched. You can either get a more powerful mod like the iStick, or get a tank system that doesn't use Aspire BDC's. I recommend you get an iStick or mod that can put out 6v/15watts, or in the case of the iStick up to 20 Watts. You'll like the vape from the Aspire BDC tank when you get it powered correctly.

Edit: Even turned it down to 4.1V and it still vapes well. No gurgling or spitting.

Hi, well I should be buying a mech mod after christmas so I guess I won't have to worry about it then haha. I'm thinking of getting a Manhattan mod with an aspire atlantis tank Any thoughts on that?

Try this.

Make sure the head/coil is properly connected to the base.

Turn the device upside down and point the base toward the ceiling.

Cover the base with a tissue or something.

Blow into the drip tip to get rid of any extra liquid.

Put it back on the battery and give it a vape.
