I need new coils for my TFV12 Prince tank, first time buying them

I've been using a Smok Stick Prince with the TFV12 Prince tank and need to grab some new coils. Do I stick with the M4 coils that it came with in the box, or can I use a different set of coils for this tank? I would assume since its not and adjustable mod.... I would be better off using the M4's? Just want some confirmation before I place and order....

Great question. Not positive, but I assume the TFV12 Prince tank is the same as the one that comes with the Stick Kit. If the M4 is working for you, then I would keep using those. I use the T10 (.12 ohm) and the V12 mesh coil (.14 ohm) on my Prince tanks. You might do some more research on youtube by checking out some reviews/tutorials of your device and tank. Good luck, and welcome to VU.

It does come with the stick kit, and the M4's are working just fine. I'd like to try the mesh coils (i hear that flavor is better with them) but don't think that the stick that came with the kit is powerful enough. (the specs say the stick can fire 100watts on full charge and it drops down as the battery life decreases) The M4's say .17 ohm and are recommended 45-55watts... everything else is that is compatible with this tank states that it is recommended to fire at a higher wattage, but still under the 100watts that this stick can do.
Basically....what would happen if I can supply enough wattage to the coil? Does it burn out premature, does it just not taste good?

I almost never vape as high or higher than what the mfg states on the coil. I have my Prince mesh coils at about 70 watts on a dual 27000, 200W device. I usually start at a lower wattage, then work my way up until I find that sweet spot for a satisfying vape. You can definitely burn out your coil by vaping at a super high wattage on any tank. Im sure the flavor will taste badly before you get to the burnt stage. Vape safe.

I just checked the only coil I have left (the one that is currently in the tank doing its job) is indeed a M4 coil. Sounds like you lucked out! I put an order in yesterday for a box of Q4 and T10's which should be here tomorrow. Lets see how they do for flavor and cloud production.
