This is very common... more times than not the mod reading will not match the ohms of the coil. As long as it's only a few tenths difference it's nothing to worry about. Now, if it's a .5ohm coil reading .3, that might be a problem.I just changed out the coil on my TFV12 Prince tank to a premade coil that is supposed to have an ohm rating of .12 according the the packaging. My Aegis Legend is reading the coil at .14.....should I be concerned or just let it ride?
A lot premade replacement coil heads may be off by a ohm or two, not a issue.I just changed out the coil on my TFV12 Prince tank to a premade coil that is supposed to have an ohm rating of .12 according the the packaging. Yup! You're all goodSo I'm ok? No worries and cloud up my living room? Lol
Yeah THAT normal.. I Would EXPECT To SEE A Variance OF 10 to 20 percent.. basically a .01 to. .05 ohm error can be due to a few once less or more tension when coil was wound. Or even a little bit longer legs on the coil. Or using a coil with the legs pointing same direction vs opposite. (1/2 wraps vs full)I just changed out the coil on my TFV12 Prince tank to a premade coil that is supposed to have an ohm rating of .12 according the the packaging.
