I personally don't like when manufacturers make changes even if it's perceived to be a good thing , bottom line , contact me via email and ask if that is OK to do because when i purchase something i expect it to be exactly as i ordered it , especially when somethings priced as high as a VS.
As long as it satisfies and it works well is all that matters , if you don't mind the changes than it's a non issue . Maybe they really are hooking you up, lets see how you like it when it comes in .

glad i still havent sent mine in for the faulty screeni knew things like this would happen and i wasnt even sure evolv fixed it when they asked me to send it in
yea they told me they would send out a brand new one, but i had heard of people getting new evolv chips and still not working. and its my best device right now so just wanted to make sure i just send it back once and done with it. plus theres a 4 month warranty against mfg defects so i know there wont be any non sense about me waiting to send it backwell i would assume when you send it in they should just replace it or update it but i couldn't tell you!!![]()
